Sounds good, I just want visitation to start.//
(Well I think this is a very appropriate time to jump to visitation/work/school/leisure . If anyone has objections please let me know and I'll roll back the descion.)
Liam checked the time and jogged back to his station. Liam switched papers on his clipboard. He cleared his throat and began making the announcement in his chipper tone,"Good Afternoon, this is your guard captain speaking. Lunch time has expired and if you've failed to collect your meal I'm sorry to say Frito pie wont be available any longer. Time is now 1 pm and that means the Visitation area is now available. You can check the schedule to see when your visitor will be seeing you. It is also Work/School/Leisure for anyone not engaged in Visitation. This is Liam signing out."
When Maya heard the announcement, she threw away her wrappers in the trash and rushed to the visitation area. She rushed out the door and waited behind the gate for them to call her name. Her baby was coming to visit her and she didn't want to miss it.
Marrin knew Annie would try and talk to Marrin. Marrin wasn't ready to see her, but she did miss Annie a bunch. "Marrin, you have someone to see you." A small guard said from behind.
Liam got his clip board and walked along the visitation gate. He spotted the ravenette with purple tips and cleared his throat," Maya, you have someone to see you."
Taki didn't have visitors, he killed them all. Still sometimes he liked to stop at the visitation area to watch any drama unfold, it was fun.
"Thank you." She said while opening the gate and looking around for her child and caretaker. She spotted the woman and sat down at the chair across from them. "Hey, can I hold my child?" Maya asked while holding her arms out. Her daughter was only two years old and would probably see her mom daily by the time she was twelve. The caretaker, Gloria, handed her over cautiously, not wanting to cause any commotion. Maya hugged her tightly before releasing her hold and putting her on her lap. Maya and Gloria had a conversation about how Alejandra was doing and the basics.
Morrigan almost ran to check the schedule, a huge smile lighting up her face when she saw Badb and Morrigan’s names listed. They must’ve forged an ID to get in, but Morrigan didn’t care how they’d done it, only that she was going to see them.
Liam saw Morrigan and waved her over before saying," Miss Corvia, you have someone to see you."
Zanna calmly walked over. She glanced over the list for any familiar names. A few caught her eye, wait what? She was expecting one of them, not all 5. She felt a grin tug on her lips, guess they did care. Of course they did, what was she thinking.
Morrigan nodded, clenching her jaw as she gave him a quick once over. Hopefully he wouldn’t be too difficult to take care of when she made her getaway. “I’ve never- I’ve never done this before, do I…?” She trailed off. How was one supposed to go about a prison visitation?
"Follow me and I can lead you to your table if you'd like Miss Corvia," Liam gestured to the gate that lead to the visitation area where tables where spread out.
(Brb)
Morrigan nodded, split between thankfulness and social anxiety. “Th-Thanks.” I’m going to see Macha and Badb.
(Liam to Morrigan/Zanna)
Liam lead the quiet girl over to the table where two people sat. Liam pulled out a chair for Morrigan and gave her space. "No touching, except for children under 5. Everyone who touches whether children under 5 or not will be pat down and will be screened."
Liam than walked back to the visitation fence. He waved over Zanna," Miss Storm, you have someone here to see you."
Morrigan’s eyes were wide. It was them. It was really them. “Mach— Badb—“ A girl with long white hair, marble skin, and huge grey wings leaned over and pressed her nose to the glass separating them. “Mor.”, she whispered. “Macha-“, she whispered back. The dark skinned girl next to her leaned forward as well. “Ohmygoditsyouwevemissedyousomuchohmygod—“ Her butterscotch eyes glimmered with tears. “Badb. Macha. Oh my god— I’m so sorry—“ Macha shushed her with a shake of her head, silver eyes glinting. She was like that, a girl of little words. “Not your fault. But the sun grows impatient. Summer will be here soon. The songbirds and the clouds— they’re about to change the colours of the sky.” She smiled wryly. “A poem by Emerson.” This was their code— the clouds represented Macha, the songbirds Badb. Summer will be here soon meant that she would be out in the near future. Changing the colours of the sky meant hacking the system. The last bit, when Macha had pretended her lines of code were verses of a poem, were meant to throw anyone listening off their trail. “We miss you.”, they both said softly, in unison.
Zanna walked over to Liam and then past him towards the visitation rooms. A sly grin was on her face, "I'm aware Liam."
(brb gotta go cook)
"You always are Miss Storm." He pointed in the direction Zanna's visitors sat but he doubted she needed him to.
Fiona grinned when she heard about visitation and ran to where the visitations were, she was going to get to see her little brother in what felt like the first time this month. She had a few tears in her eyes as she waited to see if Liam said he was there to see her.
(Bye)
“I miss you too.”, she whispered back. “What have I missed?” Badb chewed her lip, fingers playing with her caramel-tipped dreadlocks. “Not much. We’re getting by. But your dad…” Morrigan’s breath caught. “What about him??” Ohgodohgodohgod nonononono.
“He’s been… trying to find us.”, Macha picked up, squeezing Badb’s hand. “He hasn’t yet.. but… we almost had a run in with him at the warehouse, we’ve had to move.” The warehouse, an abandoned building that used to sell fireworks supplies, has been their home for so long, their shelter from the harsh streets. They continued to fill her in.
(Okay i missed a lot but imma jump in)
Vaughn had slipped out of lunch and towards where he could check to see the visitation sheet. Waiting until others were gone, he squinted at it, and was relieved to see a familiar name- Veronica Cinds. She had been his most recent foster sister, and the only foster sibling he ever got along with. She was younger than him, only being 19. He stepped away from the sheet and began to wait until he was told that she had arrived.
