Ryan scanned the room, “Nice place."

Helena silently followed the others and walked into the garage. Her arms started to shake as she got more nervous. She shoved her hands deep into her pockets so she could try to stop shaking. She looked over at the guy she was now going to try out with. She bit down on her lip, knowing that with other people around she'd probably screw up. Closing her eyes for a second, she took a deep breath then jumped back into the conversation the other two were having.

"Yeah it is. i saved up all my money and bought the garage from my mom. but anyways, set up your stuff and let's start." she said turning around and tuning her guitar

Ryan set up his drums and took out his drum sticks. He spun one between his fingers as he sat down. He tapped lightly on his thighs until they started.

Helena walked over to where a mic was set up. She tapped it a few times and said, "Test one two three four." She cringed as her voice echoed around the room. Glancing between the other two people, she started singing a simple scale to warm up, her face going slightly red.

"Ok everybody ready?" olivia asked

"Yup, I am." She messed with the mic stand, adjusting it a little better to her height.

"I'm all good," Rvan replied, slightly anxious.

"And Done!" Olivia yelled "YOu guys are good! take a seat, your in the band." she said to them. she took off her guitar and went to the mini fridge and grabbed 3 flavoured water bottles "Water?" she asked

"We're in the band? Just like that?" Ryan smiled. This was… amazing. He could finally rest assured that buying his drum set was actually worth it. He grinned.

"Wait.. Really..?" Her face got even more red than it already was. She couldn't believe it. So many things she had messed up on, so many pitch errors and voice cracks….. And she had thought she'd done good?! She continued to stare slack jawed, not letting herself believe it, preparing for it to be ripped away from her and given to a more qualified person.

“Well you guys are really good, a few mix-ups but everyone has thouse!” She smiled

Helena gasped a little, unable to function. She'd finally achived her dream of being lead singer for a band. "Oh my God, thank you!" She finally allowed herself to smile and stop pacing about. She ran over and hugged Olivia, before jumping away and flinching a little. "I-I'm sorry…I-I just got really excited and…" she looked at the ground, worried about what the response from her might be.

She laughed and hugged her, “I don’t have siblings so hugs aren’t very common in my house!” She told her

She instantly relaxed and hugged her back, "Well, they'll become a common thing for you! I'm a hug person." She backed up and smiled, already feeling more welcome and calm with these people.

“So what do you guys want to do?” She asked flopping on a bean bag

Ryan ran his hand through his hair. It was that easy. He was in, “Geez… I’m still kind of in shock,” Ryan made a light laugh then sat down, “I want to watch more people audition.”
(Figured this would be a good opening for the others to jump in…?)
