(True story: the team I'm using on here is my real life team, and my Ribombee is a shiny Pokemon that my boyfriend gave to me for our 1-month anniversary. And I literally picked a team of cute Pokemon)
"Suicune's really cool," Jolleen said, "although even if I caught a legendary, I'm not sure if I have the heart to switch anyone out of my main team. I love them all so much."
"True. They're all great, and Poochyena's pretty close to evolving. Do you give nicknames to your pokemon?"
(My first ever pokemon card was a Lillipup, so that one kinda holds a special place in my heart :D)
"Sometimes. Usually just the ones I know I'm going to use in battle a lot," Jolleen replied. She let Mimikyu find a spot on her lap.
(Lillipup is so cute too. Honestly, though, Sun was my first Pokemon game. I'd wanted to play for a long time, but I just never did.)
(Rip)
"I don't really care for battling actually. I like to create bonds with my pokemon." Lucas smiled, hugging Rockruff. "I do like to give them nicknames though, usually based on their pokemon names. Like Rocky, Peter, Archie, Steve, Houdini, and Lily."
"I do too, but I think battling together is a great way to bond," Jolleen sighed, "Nicknames kind of do a good job at portraying that bond, too."
"Yeah. I just realized five out of six of my team are male… huh." Lucas pet Rockruff again, who wagged his tail.
"Mine too. Raichu's the only girl. It was sort of by chance, I guess." Jolleen let Mimikyu bac in his Poke Ball; he seemed too nervous to be sitting in the classroom. Instead, she brought out Stufful.
"Our teacher's late… when do you think class will start?"
(Gtg. I should be back tomorrow.)
