(are they still near the campfire?)
(I think so)
(Okay. Cool. I'll keep RPing then I guess.)
Lewis could see Ari and Siren talking, perhaps arguing. Siren had set on fire, but somehow, he wasn't surprised. Of course she had powers. However, he knew this had to be intense. They were literally fire and water. He decided not to step in, and instead was playing around with the pentagram necklace he had received from his mother.
Siren saw everyone looking at her. They all knew she was there. Her scared made the fire bigger she wanted to go away.
Lewis noticed the fire growing larger and knew that this could quickly get dangerous. He then decided it was time to interfere and walked up to Siren.
"Siren, come with me on a walk," Lewis said calmly, extending his hand, "That'll help you cool down, I think."
"No," said Siren," I don't feel like it." The fire had only grown larger.
Viva watched on, worried. She looked at Chiron for help, but he was standing in the shadows, watching gravely. Viva could see that this was one of the times where Chiron would not interfere.
Her discomfort growing, Viva headed toward Ari, who was shaking.
Siren saw the worried look on Ari's face and the fire shrunk back to normal size. Siren was afraid that everyone now hated her. She walked slowly across the ground scared everyone else was scared of her… and hated her.
Sienne walked up to Siren and signed, "Come on, let's go. You need to calm down," she knew Siren couldn't understand her, so she looked at Lewis for help.
Lewis repeated what Sienne had signed and stepped back to avoid being burned. He somehow wasn't afraid. He looked her square in the eye. "If you don't want to walk with us, what can we do for you, then? I know you're scared of going on this quest. I am too. I'm almost an adult, and no one has ever even considered sending me on a quest, partially because of my powers, or lack thereof. The truth is, however, that when the Oracle gives a prophecy, there's no escaping it. It's just the way things have played out for a long time. You have to come on this quest because you are destined to. And as for your sister's fear of fire? That's not about you. Most people are afraid of fire to some degree, so you don't need to worry about it."
Siren wasn't proud of her fire powers. She felt like it made herself alot of haters.
Sienne held out her hand for Siren to hold.
"No, Lewis I WANT to go on the quest. I just am not feeling well today. I think I just need alone time," Siren said calming down.
"Come on the quest then, if you need to, you need to. The prophecy has spoken," Sienne looked at Lewis for help translating.
"We'll be glad to have you with us," he replied gently, "And if you need time alone, go take it. You deserve it. I know things aren't easy, kid."
Lewis then translated for Sienne.
Ari got up slowly, tears forming in her eyes. I'm a terrible sister. Lewis and Sienne had to do what I couldn't. She bolted to her cabin, tears of shame and fear falling down her face fast.
"I know, I know. But have you ever thought the prophecy could be wrong?"
Siren saw Ari run and said,"One sec," and ran after her sister.
Lewis nodded to Sienne and signed, "I think they're figuring things out. It might take a bit, but I'm sure they can do it."
Ari dropped into a corner of her room, hugging her knees and sobbing. I can't be a sister. I'll just hurt her again.
Siren came in and said,"What's wrong?"
Sienne nodded, "Things will just have to play out how they're gonna play out,"
"Gods, I cannot remember having any sort of issue this intense with my sister. We got along quite well, actually. I can't imagine what this must be like for either of them," Lewis said, kind of lazily signing, as he was mostly thinking out loud.
