Sienne walked over to the group with her pack full of supplies.
Sienne walked over to the group with her pack full of supplies.
"As I'll ever be," Miles sighed. He looked at Sienne and Siren. "Hey guys,"
Viva gave an absent smile to Sienne and Siren. "Morning. We're just waiting on Lewis, Ari and Perth now, right?"
Lewis finished packing a bag and came up to where some of the demigods had met already.
"I see we're up bright and early," he said.
Sienne smiled at everyone and absently swung her pack back and forth with borh hands.
"Yup," Miles said. He kicked the ground. "So… when are we leaving?"
"I guess as soon as we can," Viva answered. "When Ari and Perth arrive."
\ Natasha and @wake-read-eat-sleep, we need you! \
"I need to go get my stuff from the cabin, might take awhile."
"Ok siren!" Viva replied. "See ya soon!" Despite the brave face she was putting on, Viva was incredibly nervous, and exhausted, but she hoped no one would notice.
Viva hoped Miles wasn't too nervous. He was a new kid to the camp. "How you feeling Miles?" she asked.
(Should we just go on, and imply that everyone else is taken with us?)
(Yeah, I don't want this to die!)
(I think that's the only way to keep it alive. And once we're on the quest, if less active users still want to be part of it, we can always just act like they've been there the whole time.)
(Yeah. So, do you want to start it?)
(Sure. Where are they going and how do they get there?)
(I think the quest is like Nyx's children, right? Sooo…. wherever they need to to get there…?)
(We kind of backed ourselves into a corner with this one. I'll do some research)
(Okay, so in Riordan's interpretation, she lives in Tartarus in the Mansion of Night when it's daytime, and she leaves Tartarus at night. Other fun fact: she may be the goddess of hellhounds. Probably doesn't help a whole lot, but these are my thoughts: 1. Maybe as the story progresses, she refuses to return to Tartarus, causing an eternal night 2. The quest starts out as the kids look for Nyx's divine children and ask them for clues, but they have to figure that out by interpreting the prophecy)
(Okie)
(Sounds cool!)
(Yeah, but our plot's also about the oneiroi, so idk, maybe they're monsters, and the second they leave camp, they start seeing these (but maybe only at night for a while, up until Nyx refuses to return to Tartarus?))
(Yeah, that seems like a good idea! :D)
(Okay, so should we get started?)
(Sure)
Chiron had come to see the young demigods off before they left on the quest, but didn't give them much of a clue as to what they needed to do, or where they needed to go. This greatly worried Lewis, as the prophecy had been rather cryptic. It had talked about night, mostly. Plus, Eleos had come to visit, so he deducted that Nyx was who the quest was about. Nyx. An ancient night goddess born of chaos. After Chiron had left, Lewis turned to Sienne and signed, "Are you as confused as I am?"
