"Because you're in my family's house, alone with my sister in her bedroom," Bryson accused.

"Bryson, please," Paige sighed, already knowing that he wouldn't listen to her until he got what he wanted from Darren.

“I was being a boyfriend,” he walked over and picked his phone up.

Deleted user

"By?" Bryson questioned.

"Stooop," Paige muttered, flopping down on the bed.

Deleted user

“Nothing she wasn’t comfortable with,” he sat on the edge of the bed.

Paige sat up and cuddled against his arm, leaning her temple on his shoulder. "Exactly, Bryson. We're fine."

Bryson rolled his eyes, defeated. "Dinner should be ready in maybe 20 minutes. I'm going downstairs to help Mom. Don't get into trouble," he warned, shutting the door and going down the stairs.

Paige listened to his footsteps fade away. As soon as they were gone, she looked up at him. "So, I may have been a bit off on the time estimate…"

"I see… It's okay though," he leaned his head on her's, "Do you wanna go down and help too?"

Deleted user

Darren hopped up, "We shall go then," he offered a hand to help her.

Deleted user

"We shall," she said, taking his hand lightly and boosting herself up. She lead the way down the stairs and through the house to the kitchen, which bled into the dining room and the living room.
Bryson looked glad to see them, as did the siblings' mother.
"Paige! How was school? Who is this?" she asked quickly, eyeing Darren and Paige together.

Deleted user

"Darren!" she exclaimed.
Paige blushed, embarrassed. "Sorry," she muttered to him.

(Btw, she's the drama teacher. Like she was in the second School RP that died.)

Deleted user

"Hey!" he smiled, "It's fine," he insisted to Paige under his breath.

Deleted user

(I don't think so? But he's probably seen her around. Maybe she's the only one at school that knows he can sing or something?)

Deleted user

(Okie!)

"Darren Darren Darren!" Mrs. Turner cried, coming around the counter. "Of course, my star!"
Paige looked up at him. "What does she mean?"
"Darren is my singing star," Mrs. Turner flamboyantly addressed him.

Deleted user

"Of course you are!" Mrs. Turner exclaimed, motioning them into the kitchen. Bryson was scrubbing potatoes in the sink. "Paige, toss the salad. Toss it… vivaciously!"
Paige blushed and rolled her eyes, tossing the salad normally.
Mrs. Turner sighed and looked at Darren. "I try," she muttered.

"Kids are stubborn these days," he said back to her with a wink, he considered himself to be very good with adults.

Deleted user

Paige noticed Darren and her mom talking quietly. Please don't be getting to him too, she begged. Bryson noticed her gaze and just finished with the potatoes. He dried off his hands and stood behind her, putting his arms around her and working on the salad from behind her. She leaned back into his chest and giggled. Bryson smiled. He knew what she was going through, everything she was going through, and he was glad that he was able to make her laugh.
Mrs. Turner laughed. "Of course. But especially her," she said, inclining her head towards the siblings but clearly meaning Paige.

Deleted user

"A stubbornness isn't always a bad thing. It means she's willing to fight for what she believes in."

Deleted user

"Sometimes, yes." He sighed, "But she's good, I must say you've raised a wonderful daughter ma'am," he looked at the siblings, his glance flashing them a quick 'help me' look before looking back at Mrs. Turner.

Paige smiled. "Mom, I'm finished."
"Ah ha! Perfect!" Mrs. Turner examined the greens. Paige walked over and kissed Darren lightly on the lips. "What did she say?" she murmured.
