Pax chuckles, "Feel free to whack him in the back of the head for me." He says quietly and fidgeting a little. "Thank you, Belle for coming after me." He says softly. He bows a little to her. "I'm going to go on a walk. I'll be back." he smiles kindly before turning on his heel.
Zephyr was concerned about his brother, and you could see it in his eyes, but his customers talked to him he had no choice to stay. He knew that Belle had it handled.
Belle ruffled his hair before bouncing off. Zephyr was so mean to Pax sometimes. She opened the door with a smile and her girls ran up to her. "Is Pax okay?" Belle was taller than most girls. Which could be another reason for no one liking her. Patting them on the she hummed. "Yeah he's okay, don't worry." They all sighed with relief and went to sit down. Before Belle sat though she gave Zephyr a look saying that he needed to apologize. "We heard that you are a childhood friends with the twins." Oh, they did? She took another glance at Zephyr before turning back to the girls. "Yep, we're all really close." She wasn't sure what else of what else to say. Why were they so interested anyway? A girl with short black hair and bright blue eyes spoke up first. "Um, does Pax have a girlfriend." Ah, it makes more sense now. "Not that I know of." She looked up at the ceiling thinking. "Does he like anyone?" Belle shrugged. The girls wanted to get closer to them, and they were going to use her to do it. Oh well, not like she was new to it. "Sorry, neither of them have told me about any of those things. You'll have to ask them yourself." The girls were a bit disappointed, but understood.
Pax walked quietly, humming to himself. He had a beautiful voice. One of an angel underneath his broken soul. But he never sang. He hated singing in front of people. He had always felt like a clown. Or that people were annoyed by him. Pax did not have a girlfriend. He didn't really want one, nor did he think that anyone would be interested in a quiet soul like him. Everyone wanted Zephyr. He was fine by that really. Zephyr was popular and had more attention and respect from others. Pax, however did not.
Zephyr saw Belle's glance and shrugged hopelessly. It's not that he didn't want to apologize but Pax was so sensitive. He was just telling the story to make the girls laugh and get Pax's attention. He felt like he was lifting everything since Pax rarely spoke. He signed softly and continued talking happily with the girls.
Belle sighed. Even if they were twins, the two were complete opposite. Belle felt bad for Pax, but it was a brother thing that they needed to fix on their own. Belle went back and started talking to the girls again. Any talk of love at this point she tried to avoid. Belle didn't want to think of that right now. "So Belle I heard you have siblings. What are they like?" Family was another thing she hated talking about. "What about you lovelies? It's boring just talking about me, tell me about yourselves." (Sorry it's short. I wasn't sure of what to write.)
(It's fine)
Pax returns to the room, taking a deep breath before entering. He gives a cherry smile, forced, of course. But it wasn't obvious. In fact it looked like a real smile. "I'm back. I apologize for my sudden disappearance." He days quietly as he bows. He walks to his twins side, but gave him the cold shoulder, focusing on his notebook. Zephyr sighed quietly. He didn't want to set off the mood so he continued to chat happily with the girls, Pax only answer occasionally.
