Alex looked up and tilted his head, "But this is technically only my second time here? How could I already be your favorite guest? Don't you have other guests to attend to? I am bothering you. Oh God I'm bothering you. And I'm still bothering you. You have things to do. Wait am I rambling? I think I'm rambling. Yeah, I'm rambling." He promptly shut his mouth and looked back down to the floor, cheeks a bright rosy red.
"You…are…ADORABLE!" He squealed, before clearing his throat, "I-i uh, I mean that was…pretty…cute..?"
Alex's face got redder, if that was even possible at that point, "Thanks, I guess?"
Caleb watched the interaction between Adrik and Alex. The boss could be way too easy to tease. He threw an arm around Alex's shoulder. "Hey boss, I bet you didn't know Alex and I are in the same class. I get to see him everyday." His smile grew wider awaiting the overdramatic response from Adrik.
"Oh dear…" Grey muttered. Caleb was just waiting to set Adrik off. "I am so sorry my lovelies but it has been quite an irregular day at the Host Club. I'll be back as swiftly as I can." She nodded at her guests before quickly picking up her folders and heading to the back of the music/Host Club room to organize and research. Specifically, research on Alex.
Adrik's eyes widened, his sunglasses slipping off of his face and onto the floor.
"WHAT?! THAT'S SO UNFAIR I WANT TO SPEND MY WHOLE DAY WITH MY PRECIOUS ALEX!" He exclaimed, pushing Caleb away, and letting out a quiet growl.
raises brow Uh oh…))
Felix watches the interaction, a slight brow raised. This should be interesting.
Alex's blush became much nore noticeable. He was frozen in place.
( He may be the Tamaki character, but Adrik was originally written to be very possessive, not to mention violent)
He removed his leather jacket, throwing it onto the nearest chair, his grey shirt just barley covering his built frame, and hugging his muscular arms. He puffed his chest out a bit, making himself even bigger. He spent most of his free time training so he could keep his image as the "Bad Boy" of the host club.
(D a D d Y)
Alex saw what was going to happen. He debated in his head whether to intervene or not. Maybe this was all for show?
Grey poked her head out of the back room to see Adrik 'squaring up'. Oh god no wait She rushed from the back as fast as she could without messing up her 'cool' persona. She leaned against a nearby wall. "Think carefully about what you're about to do, Adrik." Grey warned gently, concerned for her best friend.
Caleb backed away slowly. He had meant to irritate the boss, not make him mad. There was no way he would make it out alive if Adrik actually decided to fight. He tried to defuse the tension, hoping Grey would stop in soon.
"Isn't that a bit much for just finding out I have classes with Alex? Besides, I'm not the only one. Felix is in our class too."
Alex looked to Caleb and mentally slapped his forehead. He now realized this wasn't just for show, maybe he should intervene.
Grey walked forward and placed herself between Adrik and Caleb. She placed a gentle but firm hand against Adrik's chest.
"I can't have you injure him, at least not today here and now. Think of your guests. We don't want the Host Club to be known for violence, now. You want to continue, then take it outside out of the sight and rumoring mouths of our guests. Priorities, Adrik."
Her voice continuously got quieter to whisper the end close enough to his ear to hear her. She took a step back, waiting for his response. She would support her best friend, but not so much over something this petty.
Alex nodded, "I-I would listen to Grey, Adrik."
(shouts into the void Is anyone here?!)
(yells back Yes but I don't wanna be lol I'm ready for school to be over)
(continues shouting Lol I really can't wait for school to be over!)
( SORRY MY GRANDMOTHERS MOVING IN WITH ME BECAUSE SHE JUST RETIRED AND I HAVE TO HELP HER MOVE IN AND THEN I HAVE SO MUCH WORK TO DO FOR SCHOOL H E L P! ALSO "Squaring Up" i'm fucking dying.)
Adrik looked down at his best friend, and then to Alex and Caleb. He nodded, he's just being possessive again. After taking a few deep breaths he threw on his jacket, and turned to the guest.
"I'd like to apologies for my rude behavior.." He said, trailing off a bit, turning back to Grey and nodding to her.
Alex wondered what exactly was happening. He was so confused, Host Clubs were weird.
Grey smiled lightly and nodded back, relieved Adrik didn't do anything too irrational. Her shoulders visibly relaxed as she let out a sigh and she slunk to the back room of the Host Club again.
