John frowns at nyms mumble when he stepped into his bedroom then he lays her down on his bed gently and pulls the covers back and covers her

sleepily reaches for his hand and mumbles "Stay."

John smiles slightly and climbs into bed with her wrapping his arm around her pulling her close "Shh…get some rest baby"

"Mmmmm." Nym snuggles into John and rests

John laughs under his breath and closes his eyes relishing the moment of holding her close like this and feeling like time has stalled, at least for the moment being

Nym scrunches her face and groans as she turns in her sleep

John places a kiss on nyms shoulder and murmurs softly to nym "Shh…it's okay…rest easy I'm right here"

Nym groans again and her skin becomes hot to the touch

John frowns feeling concerned then he rubs nyms arm in a soothing manner hoping she will calm down somewhat under his touch

Nym's breathing becomes uneven and she sits up immediately her eyes black. She presses two finger to the space between her brows "Ow, damnit." She immediately becomes aware of John "I'm so sorrh, are you okay? Did I hurt you at all?" Nym looks at John with her coal eyes and begins to inspect him

John blinks and jerks in surprise at nym getting up so quickly then he looks at nyms eyes surprised at their color then he shakes his head "No…are you okay nym?" John reaches out hesitantly to touch nyms face

Nym smiles shyly "I'll be fine, just a dream." She grabs his hand and presses it to her cheek wincing at the heat, but keeping his hand there

John frowns at her expression then he murmurs softly his voice full of concern "Nym…are you getting sick love?"

"No, my dreams are just very vivid and sometimes it's too much for my senses. It's called a sensory overload." Nym lowers her eyes still wearing the same shy smile

Johns face showed a slightly relieved expression then he traces nyms jaw with his thumb "What where you dreaming about love? Do you remember baby?"

Nym's smile fades as she lays back down "I uh, I was dreaming about losing you actually. I lost you to the war back on your home planet."

John frowns and a quick expression of panic crosses his face then is replaced with determination "You won't lose me nym. I damn well promise that! I swear I will try with all I got to make it back home to you"

"I know babe, it was only a dream." Nym moves closer to John "I trust you, I just really want you to hurry back from that trip. I might have a big surprise for you."

John squints now feeling curious as he looked into nyms eyes wondering what she meant "What kind of surprise love? Will it be a good one?"

Nym laughs at his obvious confusion "A very good one. I'm tempted to spoil it."

John grins wryly and places a quick kiss on nyms nose then he laughs softly "Tempted….? How about….please tell meeeeee" John makes his voice slightly whiny then he stops and laughs again

Nym gives him a look "Really? Just because you did that, no." Nym chuckles "When does game night start? Or did I miss it?"

John laughs loudly and covers his face then he mumbles softly behind his hand "Megan is coming home any minute. So we have some time to spare to talk…or anything else" John then drops his hand and peers at nym with a small smirk

Nym places a finger at his collar "What would 'anything else' intell?" She runs a finger down his chest and stomach "Intense make out?" Nym rolls over in laughter "I'm sorry, I can't take myself seriously."

John laughs and leans in and grabs nyms waist pulling her on top of him then he smiles "Make out? Another funny word for me…I do enjoy your little kisses immensely, but I don't think we have the time if I decide to get carried away. Which I more then likely will anyway" John nuzzles nyms neck and grin feeling playful "You are so cute…"
