(I'll do my best. Where you here when my character was introduced? If you weren't you can go back and find the description and stuff but moving on. Jackie skips in and causes John to spill coffee on himself. He is frustrated but moves on. John and Nym are pretty solid friends and exchange sympathetic glances when this happens before John leaves. Jackie spots the journal in John's bag and is curious. But before she does anything about that (since he left before she could do anything) she tries to make a new friend and approaches your character. It's super awkward because Jackie is distracted. John goes home to relax and Nym does the same. Jackie, determined to do a favor for John, follows what she thinks is John's car to what turns out to be Nym's house. Nym confused and nervous (since she saw this crazy red head earlier) gives up his contact info. Jackie goes to John's house, he welcomes her and they are now chatting. End summary.)

Adeline walks across the corner, ( close to Johns house ) when suddenly a car swerves. She screams and jumps out of the way, just before it can hit her. It slams into the light pole, and she falls into some prickle bushes.

(Woah cool! Who's car is it?) Jackie jumps up as she hears a screaming and then a crashing noise. Something's wrong. I think there was a crash. John rise quickly as well, he heard the noise too. We should go check it out.

Adeline crawls out from the prickle pushes, her hands torn up and bloody. "Argh…" she grunts as she shakily stands.

Jackie comes running out to see a girl crawling out of the bushes. The same one from the coffee shop. JOHN SOMEONE'S IN TROUBLE!

Adeline see's that the car is turned upside down, horribly wrecked. She limps over to see who's in the car, but when she arrives, there isn't a human being in sight.

Jackie approaches the girl, fairly sure she hasn't seen her yet. Is that your car? Are you alright?

Adeline jumps, and puts her hand over her heart. "No no no… This car just almost hit me but I dodged. There's no driver or passengers, though."

"Are you positive? Let me check under the car." Jackie used her shadow powers to jump into the shadows of the car. Sure enough, there were no people in the car anywhere.

Adeline sighed, and rubbed her arms up and down.

Jackie popped out from the shadows of the car. "Here, I'm sure John would be fine if you joined us. You know him correct?"

Adeline nodded. "Yes I do. Vaguely. But I don't need to join you. I just…. I just need to go to the library." she said, her voice trailing off. Then she began to walk away.

Jackie runs after her. "WAIT. Let us at least drive you, someone might be trying to hurt you."

Adeline stopped and looked terrified. "I didn't think about that. In that case… could you take me home?" she asked quietly.

Jackie smiled a nervous smile. "Yes of course. My car is right there." Jackie pointed to her car just a little down the street.

Adeline nodded without a word, and got in the car, hugging her knees. * this is a horrible idea… get in a car after I almost got run over? * she thought.

Jackie could tell she was worried. "Hey it's fine. I promise I'm not going to hurt you."

Adeline smiles weakly. "I figured you wouldn't. But that was pretty scary, I have to admit. I just… What if someone is trying to hurt me? I mean, I've annoyed people in the past, but enough for them to act on it? Thats… That can't happen right? Why would someone want to kill me?" she was rambling and she knew it, but Adeline was terrified.

Jackie starts the car and begins driving. She smiles to herself. "It may be hard to believe but I actually know what it's like."

Adeline looked at her questioningly. "What happened?" she asked.

Jackie shook her head. "Well for a while I was a part of the infamous group of thieves, "The Shadows of Seattle." and before that, I got in a lot of trouble for faking a doctorate and becoming an uncertified doctor. People were constantly after me and I had no idea who wanted to kill me. That's the main reason I'm taking a break right now."

Adeline was silent the rest of the ride to her house. When she got there, she nodded her thanks and went into her house. Jackie. The Shadows of Seattle. Jackie was apart of the people who had ruined her life.
