I can't tell if he has a death wish or not!
"Keep running straight, you'll come across a cluster of them." Eden replied, pulling Luce off the floor. "We'll deal with that wound when we get to safety."

"Keep running straight, you'll come across a cluster of them." Eden replied, pulling Luce off the floor. "We'll deal with that wound when we get to safety."
Lori quickly ran over to the boy and wrapped an arm around him. ”Lean on me or hold on.” she instructed as she started practically carrying him in the direction the other girl had pointed out.
"I'm fine!" Luce said, pushing himself away, taking one step and falling facefirst onto the ground. "maybe I'm not"
"Whoever you are, you better accept help," Laura called out to Luce. It wouldn't exactly be ideal if he injured himself badly, either. Not to mention that they also didn't have any supplies at all. "We better get going soon, we don't want to be out here all day…"
He scrambled up. "Think I'm OK now, weirdly." He walked a few steps and then started running along with the others.
(lads come back, no ones posting on any roleplay I'm on and I'm so bored)
(I'm here, I've been waiting for someone else I guess)
(I was the last to post so I've been waiting too)
(I guess I'll just continue, making something up…)
As the others were running, Eden pulled Dionysus along with them. He was not going to play the hero today.
The other creatures were quickly approaching, but the head start that the group had was enough to keep them far enough away. For now.
"Right there!" Eden called, pointing towards the mounds. "Get inside and barricade the door and window with whatever you find." She caught up to Luce and took his hand, pulling both him and Dionysus into a mound and blocking the holes. Her body shook feverishly as she paced back and forth on the dirty floor, praying that the others would be alright. All they could do now was wait for the creatures to pass over.
Luce yelped as Eden dragged him along. As soon as they were in the mound, he sat in the corner, pulled his knees up to his chest and rocked back and forth. He started curling and uncurling his fingers like he needed something to do.
Eden noticed that Luce was uncomfortable, probably from not having his pet around. It nerved her, too, not having Ara by her side. She had't really had a chance to think about her pet not being there, with everything that was going on. Yeah, I think she's passed on…
She carefully approached Luce, kneeling down beside him. "You look like you need a hug, or to talk about something."
"There's just so much going on. Mikin is gone, we're trapped in this room, I'm suddenly really tired, and probably hungover," Luce started thinking, he'd also recovered from what was possibly a concussion in seconds, stabbed a creature with a rock and was stranded in a desert with five random people he'd never met before. He felt himself relax a little. Somehow knowing he wasn't alone calmed him down.
"I know how you're feeling." Eden sighed, gently rubbing Luce's arm. "My little Aranie has most likely passed away, I woke up in a world that isn't my own, and a pair of teeth didn't cut through me." Not to mention she was finding it hard to hear the person in front of her. No air passed through those walls, and she couldn't lip-read very well.
A vibration across the ground sent shivers down her spine. The creatures were close. Eden froze on the spot, anyone would have though she had become a statue since she didn't appear to even be breathing. One of the creatures let out a loud screech that caused her to jump, breaking her concentration. The vibrations moved further away, until soon enough she couldn't feel a single trace of them. Only then did she relax.
Lori looked at the two of them in confusion. ”Is there anyone here who doesn't have a pet back home?” she asked softly, not quite whispering but not wanting for the group to be found. ”Hold on! You were bit by that thing and it didn't break your skin? Are you sure?” She immediately started looking the other girl over for any sign of the supposed bite.
"I'm sure." Eden replied firmly, her eye narrowed on the girl. "You were there, you have eyes., or do you doubt them?"
She turned around so that Lori could inspect every inch of her non-bitten body before 'hmm'ing slightly. "The creature tried to bite me, but it didn't happen. I felt like this tingling on my skin, and then it felt a little harder than usual, then after it tried to bite me the feeling went away."
"That's strange," Laura replied softly. It was, in fact. There were a lot of weird things about this place. It was desolate, their pets likely had passed away from some unknown factor, and they were alone. It was as if this place had once upon been populated, but it had been torn apart, ravaged by war. Perhaps their pets had just wandered away, and were fine? She clung to that thought, so desperate for any hope.
”Strange is putting it mildly, in my opinion.” Lori admitted to the more quiet girl. ”And excuse me, but you pushed me down. How was I supposed to see anything with you on top of me?” she argued almost hissing.
Every hair on her body began to bristle. "Are you saying you would rather I have left you to be eaten by one of those creatures?" Eden spat back, her eye narrowing so far it began to resemble nothing more than a black slit.
Luce was somehow calmed as the others argued. He got up and started searching through the mound.
”Of course, I'm not saying that. I'm glad to be away from… whatever that was.” Lori made a pointed gesture in the direction they had just run from. ”All I'm saying is it’s hard to see everything when half your face is buried in the ground.” she stated, meeting the glare with equal intensity.
"Guys, it won't do us any good to fight," Laura put in, stepping between Lori and Eden. She felt a bit awkward after that, so she fell silent.
(Hey guys, I'm thinking of rebooting this and changing the plot-line a little. Would y'all be interested in that?)
(sure! What's the change to the plot line?)
(I'm going to change the setting a little so it's actually habitable, also I'm going to include a way to actually get back home should the characters want it—that is a choice they will have to make at some point)
