"It's my dad..the house. I have to go." He jumped up and walked hurriedly towards the door.
"It's my dad..the house. I have to go." He jumped up and walked hurriedly towards the door.
"Okay then, do you want me to drop you off or anything like that?" He asked, following him.
"No it's not that far, i'll walk." Torin said, opening the door and walking out.
"Okay then, I'll follow you?" Leon replied, making it sound more like a question.
"I guess if you want.." He trailed off, seeming to be in sort of a daze as he walked hurriedly down the street.
Leon nodded and followed him.
Torin started running as he heard sirens when they got closer to his house. He stopped when they reached the house. There was an ambulance in the street and a couple police cars at the house. Torin ran up to the house past the officers. One of them stopped him. "He's upstairs. I-I don't know if you want to see it." Torin shook his head and pushed past him, going upstairs and into his room. His father lay on the floor, a halo of blood surrounding his head, the gun gripped loosely in his hand.
Leon quietly, and quickly, followed Torin around, he was slightly shocked when he saw Torin's father laying limply on the floor with a halo of blood surrounding his head. He wasn't sure what to do so he stayed there quietly, ready to comfort Torin or anything like that.
Torin stared down at his father. His hands covered his mouth and he let out a sob as he collapsed to his knees.
Leon quickly bent down and hugged Torin from the back, trying his best since he was usually terrible in these types of situations but he would try for Torin.
"It's my fault.." He sobbed, turning around and burying his face in Leon's shoulder.
"It's not your fault, Torin." He muttered, hugging Torin tightly. He glanced at Torin's father's dead body and quickly looked away since it reminded him of when he found out his father was killed.
"Yes it is. I was the only thing he had left and I just..I was so happy to go."
"Still, it wasn't your fault."
"Then why did he do it?!" Torin yelled, his face sparkling with tears.
"I..I don't know, I'm sorry." Leon muttered, looking away since he knew he wouldn't be able to look at Torin crying.
"Exactly." Torin growled, standing up and storming out of the room and downstairs.
Leon sighed and followed him downstairs.
Torin left the house after talking with a couple people and started walking. He didn't know where, just walking.
Leon kept following Torin.
"Stop following me." Torin said quietly.
"Okay then, do what ever you want, I'll be at our house." Leon said, turning around and walking back to his-their- house.
Torin nodded and kept walking. He stayed out for hours, mind blank. It was well past 1 am when he finally came back to the house.
Leon was asleep on the couch, he had been waiting for Torin the whole day and had ended up falling asleep at around 12 am. Normally he would have been able to stay up until later but he had no sleep last night.
Torin set his jacket down and glanced over at Leon asleep on the couch and decided to not wake him up. Instead he sat over by the window and fell asleep about an hour later.
