(U on?)
(I am now, sorry. I have been very busy lately)
Thatcher gave a heavy sigh as he sat up straight to look at the boy across from him. "I want to touch your skin- for learning purposes of course," he started, but felt like he should explain himself a bit more. "Reapers learn things about people by touching them- like name, age, and things such as that."
(It's fine)
"Why do you want to know me? I'm just another siren" Leon asked as he glanced at the clock. "You have five more minutes," He informed the boy as he nervously looked around, hoping he doesn't start to dehydrate too quickly.
Five minutes. Thatcher could work this out in five minutes. "It is very hard to explain, and I'm not sure myself. This doesn't have to be made difficult," he pressed, lips pursed as he shifted in his seat once again, leaning his elbows against the table top now.
"Give me one good reason why you need to know everything about me and you have to tell me everything about yourself also." Leon shifted nervously in his seat and was fiddling around with his fingers nervously. Why did the man want to know everything about him?
(Hey)
(Hey, I was getting to this)
"You witnessed my work, and I need to be sure that you don't tell anyone," Thatcher simply said. He was unaware of if that was the truth or not, but he would use that as an excuse.
(oh oki den, srry if I seem impatient)
"Fine then, here you go. Now you need to tell me everything about yourself since that's the only fair thing." Leon said as he rolled up his right sleeve and held out his arm over the table. He was unsure of where the sudden urge to know everything about the boy came from but he could use this as an excuse.
(It's all good, I can understand!)
"I will," Thatcher said, eyes training on the boys bare skin. He reached out, his hand grabbing onto the boy's forearm. His skin was soft, but felt slightly dry. Most likely from lack of water. Then, when he shut his eyes, all of the information he wanted came to him, even flickers of things the boy has seen. He let go a moment later, looking back up at the boys face. "Your name is Leon…"
"Yep, that's me." Leon said as he hissed in pain slightly when the boy touched his forearm from all the new cuts he got yesterday. "What's your name?" He asked as he rolled down his sleeve and went back to fiddling with his fingers under the table.
"Thatcher," He answered, looking Leon up and down. "What things do you want to know about me besides all of that?" he asked, thinking about Nike. The hound was probably hungry, so he would need to find her something to eat.
"Ummm, I don't know, maybe all the stuff you now about me? Like if you know my age then I know your age?" He said, making it sound more like a question than an answer to a question. He glanced at the clock and quickly got up, "Shit, I have to go. Umm, see you later?"
Thatcher glanced up, watching Leon closely. "Right. I don't have a phone, but you can find me at the Sunset Motel, room 1E," he said, standing up as well.
"Okay then. It was nice meeting you, Thatcher." Leon said as he smiled at Thatcher and left the coffee shop to go to his motorcycle. He quickly got on his motorcycle and went to the beach.
Thatcher hummed in agreement before getting up and leaving the coffee shop. Nike sniffed at him for a moment, then gave a soft growl. "I was talking to a witness," he murmured to the hound.
Leon parked his bike in the parking lot and went into the water, his feet forming into a black tail the moment they touched the water. He quickly swan away from the shore and looked around for his friends.
Thatcher walked down the street, wandering around as he considered what to do with his free time. Nike gave a whine, and he remembered that he had to feed her. "Come on, girl. Let's go hunt," he said before making his way towards a nearby set of woods.
Leon kept looking around until he found his friends and he swan over to them with a smile, "Hey, guys! Did I miss anything important?" everyone shook their heads and they all started talking to each other.
Thatcher wandered through the woods as Nike did her thing. At the moment he was leaned up against a tree, watching as the three headed hound ripped apart an already mutilated deer.
(gtg again, srry!)
Thatcher wandered through the woods as Nike did her thing. At the moment he was leaned up against a tree, watching as the three headed hound ripped apart an already mutilated deer.
Leon listened as one of his friends started talking about his embarrassing moments and everyone burst into laughter when his friend completed the story. Soon everyone has shared their stories and everyone was either laughing or giggling.
As Thatcher stood there, he felt a scratching feeling on the side of his leg. He dug out the small paper, which was in his trench coat pocket that was by his previously mentioned leg, and he read the name. It was a woman's name now- Maria Willson.
Leon finally calmed down and they started talking about how their day went and time was going by fast for him. One of his friends started sharing about how they met their enemy and how it was very awkward which made everyone burst into laughter again.
Thatcher walked through the woods, Nike following after him. He thought about Leon for a moment, and he considered himself crazy. Why did he feel slightly obsessed with him? Maybe he was just sick.
After a few minutes, someone had to leave so everyone started leaving after him and Leon was the only one left. He thought about Thatcher for a moment and scolded himself then decided to swim to the shore so he could go to his house.
