Leon looked away, trying to avoid eye contact with the man and followed Jacob.
Jacob lead him into a room with a bed in it, along with a strange looking machine that took up about half the space in the room. "Um, just lie down for now." he said, walking towards the door.
"Okay then." Leon somehow managed to get to the bed and laid down.
"I'll get something to help you with your leg, be back in a tick." he said, rushing off.
"Okay then." He sighed and looked at the ceiling, thinking over what just happened.
Jacob left the door unlocked. Technically. With wizards, the word "Technically" was in and of itself a technicality. He snuck into the potion making room and started to concoct a medicine that would hopefully work as a painkiller, or something along those lines.
Leon kept thinking of the reason he was here. He was here to kill the professor Jacob just talked to and the professor probably recognized him, I'm so dead. I'm not even going to survive this whole day if the professor recognized me.
Jacob scurried back, a jar of grey slime in hand. "Um, I got this for you. Sorry it took so long." he blushed, embarrassed.
Leon glanced at Jacob and got into a sitting position, "It's fine."
"Erm…. where does it hurt? Your leg, I mean."
"It does but I can handle the pain for a little longer."
"Well, what area is injured?"
"Probably my whole leg. I don't know."
"Oh, okay. This won't hurt but it will feel a little bit cold. I'm going to put it on your leg, it'll help ease the pain for a little while but you won't be able to walk for now. It seems your leg is… erm… broken…." Jacob said, gently massaging the slime onto Leon's leg.
"Oh, okay then." Leon said as he thought of other things to distract himself.
"Um, I never caught your name." Jacob said.
"Leon Agnes." He answered as he stared blankly at the ceiling.
"Leon is a nice name." Jacob said. There was an awkward silence, the only noise was the low hum of the machine, sometimes the occasional clank or whirring sound.
"Thank you?" He said, making it sounds more like a question.
"Um… so, what lead you to falling through the roof? Normally people don't do that. No offense intended."
"None taken and I'd rather not talk about it."
"Oh." Jacob said. "Sorry."
"It's fine."
