Brennan led Mina around the first floor, gesturing to things and making sure she knows where everything was.

Mina kept a mental list of where everything was. She followed behind Brennan, staying quiet as he showed her around.

Brennan lead her back around to the elevator and waited for it to go up to the next floor.

“There’s a lot in the first floor.” Mina observed as she followed Brennan onto the elevator.

“yea. but it has the highest ceilings which is best for the storage area. and of course we have to have the lobby and reception downstairs.” he said. he stepped out of the elevator onto the second floor.

Mina followed behind, with a laugh, onto the second floor. “Where else would the lobby and reception be?”

"The basement?" he said with a chuckle. "thats the cafeteria as we saw earlier. and all of the littler offices are down here. mostly filing areas, and books about various things."

“But do you really want people wandering on different floors before they figure out where they’re going?” Mina laughed a little.

"Everyone knows where they're going youre obviously the newest employee but the last hire here was 5 years ago pr so." he said with a shrug. and the next 7 floors are the main offices. floors 3 to 6 are writers for different things and floors 6-9 is editing and publishing. then the top is our offices and i have one for my niece for when she comes to work with me. she has book and toys and drawing things so she doesnt get bored. and i have a tv just in case she gets bored of the physical stuff." Brennan explained.

“Ah.” Mina nodded realizing everyone would know that she was totally fresh bait for other employees. And they could tell. “But what about if someone comes in randomly, like me? Like looking for a job or something or has a meeting with someone in your offices.”

"we dont usually let people wander our building when theyre here for jobs. and if they have a meeting here its on the top floor as well, we make it clear in multiple emails and candy directs them as they get here where to go"

Mina nodded, looking around. She didn’t really have much else to comment on the subject so she just stayed quiet, taking note of things.

Finally Mina and Brennan reached the top level once again and found themselves back in Brennans office.
"So what would you like to do now?" he asked.

Mina shrugged, standing awkwardly in his office. “I don’t know.”

"well its up to you. i dont have anything important to do. i already did everything i have to do for the day." Brennan said sitting in his office chair and leaning back.

“Well I guess I’m just here to protect you so…” Mina looked around the room, having nothing better to do. “I can do what ever you need to be done, I guess.”

"im not really sure to be honest. what time is it anyway?" he asked.

Mina looked over at the clock on the wall. “It’s 2:33.”

"hmm we could leave and go home. i am the CEO and can do whatever i please after all"

“Just end the day like that?”

"Like what?" he asked

“Just leave when ever you want to?”

"heak yes! i mean i have all my work done. i have a niece to get home to and a nanny who could probably use a few hours off. She works so hard to make that little girl happy." he said, a smile brought to his face.

“That’s so sweet.” Mina smiled at the thought of Brennan with little kids.

"yea…" he said, still smiling at the thought of his little niece.
