Will rolls his eyes, "Mortals…" he mutters under his breath as he begins walking back towards the camp, checking to see if they were following before heading towards the camp. Chiron was there, talking with a few new campers. "Ah, Will…" He sees the Doctor and Alison. "Who… might these be, Will." His voice is cold, his tail flicking slightly. "Mortals who can apparently cross the border. I don't think the mist works on them." He answers.
"Yes, your little perception filters are merely an annoyance. And who might you be?" the Doctor asked, his tone polite, calm, collected, and most noticeably implying that he could burn the whole camp if he sees one thing he doesn't like, such as anything that is dangerous or potentially a threat to the human race, and that there was much more to him than meets the eye. "My name is the Doctor, and this is my good friend Alison." he said. "B-but he's a horse…. and a man…. a centaur! A bloody centaur!" Alison said, surprised. Of course, there was always new surprises everywhere you looked when travelling with the Doctor.
Will raises a brow, "So…? You've never seen a horse-man before?" He chuckles a little. "Is Dionysus here? He's gonna need to see this so he can report it to Zeus… we've been compromised…" He says, shaking his head. "Having mortal here… just when we thought peace when in our grasps…"
"I have no intentions of causing trouble. This is your turf, we will respect you as long as you in turn respect us." the Doctor said. "Would you by any chance know where I could get a cuppa, or maybe a glass of brandy? This has been a rather confusing day, I must admit." he said.
Will looks at him. "This is a camp for demigod teens We don't have alcohol… Dinner will be served…" He pauses to look at the sun. "In about 10 minutes. You think you can last that long?" He asks, looking towards the doctor. "We'll respect you, no worries… although the Hermes kids are a bit of trouble."
"I have had hundreds of years of experience with younger people, a few rowdy human children shouldn't be a problem." he said. Alison looked at Chiron in awe. "How the heck are you even…. forget it."
Chiron raises a brow, "Actually, they're children of the gods…" Will shakes his head, "Are you sure we should be sharing this with… uh… normal people?" He glances at the two, flashing a nervous smile before looking at Chiron.
"I am far from normal, as is Alison. And I don't believe in gods or goddesses, only beings who like to think of themselves as such." the Doctor said haughtily.
"Uh huh. Wait till you see these kids…" Will mutters. Chiron chuckles a little. "Will, why don't you go check on the Apollo cabin, then get back to your duties." Will nods. "Yessir." He glances at the two newcomers, "As of now, your campers." He says, smiling a little. "Follow me."
"Oh, I'm probably not staying long. Planets to save, companions to sing karaoke at relentlessly, and so on." the Doctor said casually. Alison groaned, she remembered karaoke night. That was an excruciatingly painful memory.
"At least pretend for a little. I don't want to panic the camp." Will says, sighing. "We've had enough war as it is… kids, roman and greek are still healing from the war against Gaea." he says, walking towards the Apollo cabin.
"Ah, that war. My apologies, I couldn't interfere much, fixed point in time and all that." he said. "Don't mind him, hardly anything he says makes sense." Alison said, grinning smugly.
"Prepare yourself… there are a lot of injured kids." He says, before entering the cabin. The medic cabin was overflowing, so the extra were brought to the Apollo cabin. He sighs softly, walking through the injured bodies, giving medical care to those who needed it.
"Ah, I see. So this is basically like a miniature hospital, yes?" the Doctor asked.
"No… This is the apollo cabin. There were so many injured we had to… well we had to move some of them here. For the time being, they're in the Apollo cabin." he says softly, offering a blanket and a smile to a crying girl no older than 8. She hugs him and he smiles softly, hugging back. "Head back to the Aphrodite cabin, sweetie. Your concussion should be healed about now." he says kindly. The girl nods and exits.
"Same difference. A good dose of Protein Minus Beta 5 would do the trick in this case…. oh, sorry, you wouldn't have that yet." he said.
"We prefer to use our gifts since they help us keep in better control, plus it works just as well." He says, humming a little bit.
"Hmm. You're still afraid." he said. "You know something terrible is coming, and you won't admit it."
"We're demigods… we're used to our… celestial parents making a mess." Wiil says, shrugging a little bit.
"Some people can't help it. Either way, I'd best be off. No point in staying around now, is there?" he said, exiting the cabin. Alison followed, sighing.
Will nods to his second in command. "Sorry," he says, walking towards the Doctor. "Have to remain with you guys until Chiron can figure something out."
"I'm afraid you really can't. Take care, don't make any foolish decisions." he said, walking back through the field to the TARDIS.
(Are you still here? Hello?)
