Heya! I had a swim meet. I'm back now!

"I need rations, water, and a spare tarp if you have one." He counted each finger with each thing he listed. "After that I will get out of your hair."

“Just give me a moment please,” She said to him, heading over to a shelf. Fetching a leather bag she started to gather the items he had listed. “Is there a specific size of tarp you need?”

"At least 20 by 10 feet would be good." Persian leaned off to the side as to not get in Scarlett's way. "Thank you for giving me supplies. I appreciate it."

“It’s not often I get to meet people who don’t want to kill me,” She said, buckling the bag. “I can here with my three best friends… One, was killed on day two, Second one found their Soulmate within the first couple of months, lucky girl, and the last one, my favourite, Soul to Soul friend… she killed herself,”

"I'm sorry for your loss. I know it's hard to lose someone close." He gave a sympathetic smile. "I hope you're able to find your soulmate and get out of here."

“You know you can’t exactly.. leave, right?” She asked.

"No I don't. I have no idea how this world works. All I know is that neither one of my siblings ever came back." He sighed. "Do you know?"

“I kind of understand how this place works…” She held out the bag for him. “So, basically, I think, you come here and everyone and everything wants to kill you, and then once you find your Soulmate and somehow tame a beast of the Fieldiaf, the world will no longer want to kill you and you have peace? I think,”

"That makes sense." He took the bag from her, giving a slight nod of thanks. "Well, either way, I hope you find your soulmate." Persian walked out of Scarlett's makeshift home. He slung the bag over his shoulder and headed into the night.

“If you ever need anything I’ll be here!” She called. “And good luck, cuz you’ll need it,” She added, whispering so he wouldn’t hear.

"Good to know. Maybe I'll drop by again someday." He gave a small wave before disappearing into the shadows and reappearing in a tree about a mile away.

She put out her small flame, starting to climb a tree. Scarlett layed herself against the mossy bark of the tree, smiling up to the moon. And I’ll need some luck too,

Persian fell asleep to the light of the moon, thinking about the day he had. He thought about the girl that he met, and hoped that she lived to see the next day.

Scarlett closed her eyes, letting her face soften. The embrace of the night air dissipated as she fell to the void of sleep.

Persian woke at dawn like he normally did and climbed down to the base of the tree. He took a ration packet out of the bag he was given and started munching on it.

She opened her eyes, letting herself guide her body down the tree still half-asleep. She fixed her hair, grabbing a bow from a shelf as well. She also grabbed her Fieldiaf amulet, I will tame my beast today! Heading off Northward, she set out to find her beast.
