"Um, thanks," she murmured in response to Raz. Turning her attention to Thorn, she said, "Do you mind explaining all this?"
"Um, thanks," she murmured in response to Raz. Turning her attention to Thorn, she said, "Do you mind explaining all this?"
Thorn gave her a look to fake it.
"Well Walt wanted to have a few words with you." Raz said.
Walt just stared at her a bit. "Do you know who your roommate is?" He asked, slowly.
Thalia swallowed, giving Thorn a worried look. Come on, think.. she urged herself. "She's..umm..Thorn." She finally managed to spit out. Damn it! That was stupid! Thalia mentally slapped herself in the face.
Walt stepped a little closer to her. "Do you know what she does?" He asked.
(Bump?)
Sh*t.. she thought, trying to come up with something to say. She knew she was a horrible liar, so she had to tell the truth, but she couldn't let anything slip about her own identity. "She's The Demon."
Thorn looked surprised. “You knew?“ She asked, confused.
Raz laughed. “Right again! Goodness you are good!“ She complemented Walt.
“And this is going to stay between us right?“ He asked.
(Im not good at intimidating!)
Thalia nodded, trying to hold in a laugh at Thorn's shocked tone. "Won't tell a soul, long as she leaves me be." Her eyes met Thorn's.
Walt nodded. “She wont.“ He said looking between the two.
Thorn nodded her head, thanking Thalia in her mind.
Thalia smiled. "Good." She had half expected them to kidnap her, or something like that, but was thankful that it hadn't happened.
Walt nodded. He and Raz walked out but before he did he slipped a note into Thorns hand before leaving.
Thorn read over the not he gave her and let out a sigh. Now she was even more tired than before and she had a headache.
Thalia frowned. "You look tired. You should get some sleep." Though she was curious about the slip of paper, she knew she should probably leave it be.
Thorn walked overy and sat down on the couch. "Not now. I need to think." She said as she put her head in her hands, pulling on her hair.
Thalia tilted her head slightly. "You'll think better if you get some sleep."
Thorn stayed like that for a while before nodding.
"Yeah. Probably." She said. Half of her didn't want to do that because she was afriad the society would come after Thalia, or she would trap her in the apartment or she would go warn the police about her but she was too tired to care. She got up and went to her room before clasping on her bed.
Thalia sighed, lying on the couch, deciding that she might as well sleep too, so she lied her head back on the armrest and closed her eyes.
