Cool//
(I'm not the greatest at starting but here we go)
(I'll use Aelia for this)
Also this is totally not completely based on what I did last night, excluding the romance of course//
Aelia sat outside on the roof looking at the stars. It was pretty late, but she couldn't sleep and found comfort in seeing the stars. It was good that it was a clear night, or she'd never be able to see anything because of light pollution. Sitting there amidst the silence was peaceful. A strong wind blew and Aelia tugged at her light jacket as it was pretty cold. I should warm myself up… Hot cocoa? She climbed back inside but quickly realized that there was a serious lack of hot cocoa in her pantry. Well… I guess I'll go and buy some right now.
Cherry yawned, she had classes in the morning yet she had promised to take over her friends shift at the cafe. Why do I let Ace do whatever he wants? She thought sourly as she wiped the counter.
Aelia walked into a small cafe. She wanted some hot cocoa and then, maybe she'd try to sleep. She hadn't been able to sleep for a while, so she wasn't sure how likely that'd be. There was only one person working the 3am shift. Well, at least they're not busy.
Cherry looked up from her wiping when the bell signaling someone entering the cafe rang, she sighed and began her greeting. "Hello and good morning, welcome to Heath's Cafe. What can I get you?" She asked, her voice pretty tired.
Aelia looked up and heard the standard greeting come from the girl behind the counter. "Oh, hey. I just wanted some hot cocoa, if that'd be alright." She pulled some money out of her pocket to pay and sat down near the counter.
Cherry breathed out a sigh of relief. "Thank god you aren't one of those fuckers who order a 'Caramel latte with extra whip cream, no caramel, chocolate, one shot of espresso, and a gallon of human tears.' at three in the morning." She said.
"God, why would anyone even want that?? At three in the morning, especially. Like, no thank you, I am totally fine with my basic hot cocoa." Aelia laughed softly. It felt good to talk to someone.
"I know right! I have classes in the morning so there is no chance in hell I'm trying to figure out how to make that." Cherry said with an eye roll as she set down a mug of hot cocoa with little marshmallows.
"Thank you! Yeah, I know how it is. And I definitely wouldn't ever want someone ordering something so complicated when my brain isn't even functioning correctly! Those people must be the worst." Aelia said, thinking back to when she had to work at a cafe in high school.
Cherry nodded fiercely, her short red hair bobbing and her eye bags big enough to carry the empire state building. "I have so many classes with bodies and it doesn't help that all I can think about his how angry I am at a stupid person who can't order a normal drink."
"My god, I remember having to do that. Absolute worst. Especially those people who'd get super mad when you messed up and it has just a little bit too much espresso or something." Aelia laughed. "So how often do you get random people at three in the morning?"
"To be honest, whenever I have this shift quite a lot of people come in. I think most of them are as sleep deprived as me." She said, quickly making herself some tea and sitting down on a stool.
