“You hurry up.” Lucille muttered.
“You hurry up.” Lucille muttered.
(Happy birthday to you and this RP)
After what seemed like hours of walking along rooftops and climbing rusty pipes, they arrived at a bunker.
The purplish light of this world's setting sun cast eerie shadows on the cellar-like doors before them.
The Shadow shifted, shaping itself into an almost humanoid form. It threw the bunker doors open and gestured to Tyson and Lucille.
"After you," He grumbled, the sound of a smile in his voice.
Tyson cast a sideways glance at Lucille.
Something seems off about this…
"Should we trust him?" he whispered.
( oh yea!! :D Thank and happy birthday to this rp!! uwu)
Lucille paused and studied their surroundings. “… probably not.” Lucille whispered back, “But we can’t just run away?? That’s rude.”
"Is this really about being rude? I'm more concerned about your safety."
"Are you coming?" The shadow inquired, his tone impatient.
“Give me aN HOUR.” Lucille waved her hand dismissively towards the shadow, she quickly turned back to Tyson. “Fair point. Let’s think about this carefully. Do we really think this adorable little shadow is mean enough to be mean? And if we are rude and run away, where would we go? On the other hand, if he is indeed a bad.. shadow, we’re honestly going to die at this rate.”
Lucille inhaled deeply and had the done expression on her face, “why.”

(lol)
"Because I touched a dumb puddle. That's why." Tyson rubbed his temples. "I say we trust him for now…or at least go with him. If worst comes to worst, I stay down there, and you run for your life."
The shadow crossed it's arms. "I'm growing impatient."
“Your face is growing impatient.” Lucille mutters under her breath, “Yea, if worst comes to worst, we’ll be rude guests and ditch. And not one of us, especially you, gets left behind. Deal? Deal. Let’s go.” Lucille motioned for Tyson to go first.
Tyson glanced at her one more time before ducking through the doors.
It was completely dark in the bunker. Tyson felt his way down creaking wood steps until he reached the cement floor below. He looked back. Only a slit of light from the open doors showed that he hadn't been locked in.
A cool wind swept through the pitch blackness.
"You next," The shadow ordered her.
Lucille looked at the doors warily and reluctantly went in.
“Is it really dark in here or did I go blind?” Lucille asked.
"I cannot tell what's darkness and what is light. It all looks the same to me," admitted The Shadow™. "But I believe you would consider it to be "Dark"."
(bumpity bump I love this RP sm)
“Wait,,, you can’t tell the difference between dark and light?” Lucille asked, with newfound interest, “Like,,, can you see everything or can you see nothing?”
"Yes," The Shadow said. "Better not leave your friend to his own devices for long. He could get lost and seems pretty helpless without you."

"True though!" Lucille took a few unsure steps forward, "Tyson, buddy, say something before I accidentally walk into you."
(mm being a year late B)) )
(My god, I remember seeing this roleplay back in the day. I was Smol_Snake/Robin_Jones by the way. Alright, apologies for butting in, I was just surprised to see this title again lol)
(omg hi!! :o
Nah, it's good :O
I would be surprised too lol. How are you?)

"Ouch," Tyson grunted as Lucille's next step landed on his foot "I guess you know now."
Before Lucille could respond, the trapdoor slammed shut and the sound of a metal bolt sliding into place echoed through the bunker. All was silent and definitely dark.
"Well I guess we were right to be suspicious," Tyson sighed." I'm not really surprised though. This is just our luck."
He looked down at Lucille. "I guess the only way to go is forward, wherever that is from here. I can't tell."
Lucille looked at the place where she remembered the the door to be and sighed, "Gosh darn it, I guess we shouldn't have trusted him then? I hate being in the dark." Lucille grabbed Tyson's arm and cautiously took a step forward, "I literally cannot see anything it's like I'm in the womb. I think I'm looking at where forward is? Worst case scenario we bump into a wall. Or fall into a hole."
Tyson let Lucille pull him along towards a random point in the darkness.
"Yeah really. I wonder what they have in store for us here. He mentioned some kind of council or something but i can't remember what exactly. Oh well guess we'll find out."
Tyson cringed as he bumped into a wooden post. "Dang I wish I had my matches. I think i lost them back in the desert. Or was it the caves? oh I don't remember. That or a flashlight would be fantastic."
"Oh yea, you had a flashlight! It feels like,, forever ago when we were in that stone cave." Lucille warily stuck out her arm in front of her, thinking that something hitting the tips of her fingers wouldn't hurt as much stubbing her toes, "You sure you don't have the flashlight on you?"
"I don't know…let me try and feel around for it in The Bag."
Tyson knelt down and took The Bag from Lucille. He felt around for the zipper, pulled it open and reached into it, rummaging around in its seemingly endless contents. He smiled slightly as his hand grasped something cold and metal. He pulled a flashlight out of The Bag.
"This thing really knows what we need." He looked up at Lucille and flipped the on switch. The flashlight flickered to life, shining directly into Lucille's face.
Lucille winced a little, then grinned, "I can see now! Very nice. This bag is very very cool. Do you want me to continue carrying the backpack or do you want me to be the holder of the flashlight?"
"You should hold the flashlight, Lu. I don't trust myself not to drop it." Tyson offered it to her. "Besides, it seems like every time we use this bag it gets heavier."
Lucille took the flashlight. “I will be the guardian of the flashlight. But really? The backpack gets heavier?” Lucille wrinkled her nose, “Well, every good thing has a downside. But hey! At least, we’ll be super buff haha.” Lucille shined the flashlight around.
(Ok so is it like a tunnel or was the bunker an entryway to a void?)
