"Apparently there's something spooky following us and I don't want to find out."
"Maybe if we ignore it it'll go away…"
"Doubt it." Lucille sighed, "We're doommmeeedddd."
"Calm down." Gerard sighed. "It's probably your imaginations."
"Says you," Lucille grumbled, "you're literally a talking snake."
Tyson tugged on Lucille's sleeve. "Um….Lu?"
"What?" Lucille hissed, turning sharply to face Tyson.
"There's….there's…." He pointed shakily ahead. A large shadow loomed before them, glowing eyes piercing the darkness.
"Well, crap." Lucille huffed, she was too annoyed to be scared, "The big scary thing we were avoiding is now in front of us."
"Lucille Everdeens how are you not freAKING OUT???"
"Well, I'm honestly too tired and annoyed to. Like, trust me, buddy, inside my brain I want to find my mom and hide under a rock but I'm too tired to do so. Plus, staying calm is useful in these situations. But I am not calm. I am tired."
Tyson blinked. "Okay thanks for sharing."
"You're very much welcome. Now, we have two options. We can either stare at this monstrosity all day or run in the other direction hoping for the best."
"Or we could…talk to it?" Tyson shrugged. "I don't know?
"Dude." Lucille blinked, "We're gonna use Plan MLP?"
"No I didn't even watch that show."
She knows my deepest secret run.
"Someone's in denialll." Lucille grinned, then she quickly turned back the monstrosity (assuming it's still there), "I'll tease you later. So, Plan A, B, or MLP?"
"I think….MLP would be the smart thing." Tyson gulped.
"Okay, you first, Twilight."
"S'cuse me?" Tyson glared at her.
"What? Do you like Rainbow Dash better?" Lucille sighed, shaking her head.
Tyson took a deep breath, resisting the urge to slap his girlfriend, then turned to the shadow. "Um……hey?"
Lucille unknowingly (or is it subconsciously…) held her breath, wow, he's actually doing it. .-.
The shadow squinted at him.
Tyson went on. "I'm Tyson….that's Lucille….we're just passing through."
