I don't know if this is the best plot to RP with, but I thought it could be fun!
Princess Bliss Philips of the kingdom of Starlace was betrothed to the prince of the neighboring kingdom, Rylencia. She desperately wanted to make her own choice, to be free of the marriage being forced upon her. So, she rode out at midnight. Fleeing into the mysterious, dark woods that surround her kingdom, she gets lost and turned around. Frightened and alone, she is unable to find her way back to the castle. Strangers meet her as she tries to get back home, and a witch even threatens to kill her family.

Sure! I was thinking that he could also not want to be forced into a marriage, so he would run away as well. Then the two would meet up, neither knowing the other is their betrothed, and we could do whatever from there.
