Nodding, Orion kneeled next to the two. "When was the last time you slept Shadow? Or ate?"

Something happened. Zoe suddenly screamed on the floor in agony. It was like death was slowly taking over her. Her skin was hot and it felt like she was bathing in the river of Styx. She understood how people said their life flashed before them. She thrashed in pain before it stopped. Then she laid on the cold floor. Everything was hazy, before she blacked out.

Orion curses in a language that none of them understand. Making sure that Zoe is still breathing, he presses his fingers to her throat. After confirming that she lives, he grabs his book, and settles down to read. He is far past his current past in the book, years after. Knowing the future can be a terrible thing.

"I don't remember," he held his head. He was coming back, and the energy seem to have come from Zoe. He turned to his sister and her new friend, "Back away Shade, Orion."

"I just got you back," Shade walked away, "I don't want to lose you again so soon."

"We'll talk soon sis okay?" he looked at his pupils swirling black.

Shade nodded, "Okay."

She rushed over to help Zoe, "Orion can I help!?"

Orion looks up. "She's fine. Just sleeping."

(Gtg)

(Bye.)

"Thank goodness," Shade wiped the tears from her eyes.

(Zoe got her power drained.)

(What do you mean by that?)

(The father drained Zoe to regain control.)

(How has that affected her again?)

(Read.)

I did I'm an idiot tho so I need people to explain stuff!

(She passed out from the power draining. The effect of the power being drained weakened her enough so that she lost consciousness.)

(Ohhhh okay.)

Shadow stood up eyes black, "Sorry about that class. A certain student needed to learn a lesson."

His eyes trained to Shade. She felt what little of her magic left build up in her and charged, "YOU BASTARD!"

Shadow smiled and seemingly captured her with the shadows. They proceeded to appear to choke the life out of Shade dropping her to the ground unconscious, "Now then where were we?"

Jamie charged. He cut Shadow with his dagger and smirked. The dagger was used to kill spirits and other things along those lines, it could injure you no matter what you were.

Shadow winced, "Ah yes there we were."

He formed a shadow blade and used it to attack Jamie.

She looked with wide eyes before charging again.

Shadow knocked Melody out of the way.
