"I'm not really going to fight." Bill said. "I don't really do that type of thing."
"I'm not really going to fight." Bill said. "I don't really do that type of thing."
"Like I said," Shadow looked at Bill, "A precaution."
She snarled at the man as she helped Shade up.
"Thank you," Shade croaked out to Zoe.
"I'm good on track though. Running through corridors helps a lot."
“Why are we even here?” Jamie asked quietly, not caring if no one answered.
Shadow ignored the boy. Shade opened her mouth to answer before a shadow slipped around her neck and caused her to cough up blood.
Shadow ignored the boy. Shade opened her mouth to answer before a shadow slipped around her neck and caused her to cough up blood.
"What the Hades are you doing?!" She yelled at Shadow before attacking Shadow. Her powers were not uncontrollable for she was very mad and annoyed.
Shadow disappeared and appeared else where. Eye fully black he said, "What I must. She shouldn't even be here."
She snarled. "Then why did you bring her then." She mouth whispered an threw a shadow ball at him.
Shadow didn't respond. Shade did it for him, "He didn't mean to. He never wanted to did you?"
"Wait what?" She asked with accusation. She extinguished the shadow ball in her hand.
Shadow held his chin high, "Class dismissed."
Shade sighed out of relief. Her tears welled up again, "He didn't want to. Shadow never wanted to. He did."
Zoe bent down to Shade's level. "Who?" She asked softly.
Shade could see the shadow hovering in the corner, "I can't tell you. Just know that's not Shadow it's him."
"Who!?" She shouted louder. At this point she really didn't care if the guy was listening.
Shade whispered, "Dad."
"What?!" She shouted outrageously and stumbled back wards.
Shade curled up into a small ball. Her tail wrapping around her legs. She began to cry as the thoughts of what we're going to happen later plagued her mind.
Orion once again put down his book. Glaring at everyone, he stands. The look directed towards Shadow is the
W O R S T one. Slowly, he goes and sits next to Shade, pulling her to lean against him. A faint rumble fills the room, and it takes a moment to realize that Orion is purring.
The feeling of Peace.
Shade leans against Orion. His purring filling her with a sense of peace. Even so she couldn't open up to anyone, not yet.
Orion sits, feeling the warmth of another against him, and purring the louder for it. Eyes open and blue, they gaze around with a surprising intensity. Hoping that maybe him and the girl could be friends! Smiling, his purring turns almost to trilling. Purring fills the room.
The feeling of Peace.
Shade giggles a little. Orion seems to be purring quite a bit and this caused Shade to purr. She tried to quell it, but once started Shade really couldn't stop.
At the feeling of purring against him, Orion purred all the louder. The rooms seems to momentarily still, as if in a trance.
The feeling of Tranquility
