Zoe and Shade arrived at the principals office. Shade walked in and watched as the door closed behind her. She leaned against the wall, "What do you want Shadow?"
"Can't I just say hi?" Shadow smiled at her.
"You never just say hi," Shade galred at him. She pushed off the wall and walked over to his desk both hands on it as she leaned towards him, "What. Do. You. Want?"
(Can someone join my rp, The Virtual Side, I don't want a new dead rp)
"I want you," he glared at her. His black eyes poignant to Shade. Anyone else would think them a dark brown, but she knew better, "To stay away from the new students."
"And why should I do that?" Shade spat.
"Because if you don't," shadows began to wrap around her. They lifted her high into the air. Shadow let out a wicked smile, "Well you know what happens."
Shade sighed, "Well I'm not going to."
The shadows wrapped around her even tighter. They crawled up to her throat choking her slightly, "Wrong answer dear."
"You wouldn't kill me," Shade looked down at him as she coughed the words out.
Shadow sighed and the shadows disappeared Shade fell to the ground coughing. He put his left foot and pushed down on her body, "At least not today."
Shadow released her. Shade slowly stood up, she hated those damn shadows. They drained the energy from her. Shadow walked back to his desk and spoke, "Now I wouldn't say anything about this dearie. So run back to your dorm and rest for tomorrow. Okay?'
Shadow sounded concerned and Shade could almost see a swirl of purple. She turned and limped toward the door. Before she opened the door to leave she whispered, "You be careful to Shadow."
"I will," the voice was strangled. Shade nodded and walked out of the room.
Zoe looked horrified at how pale Shade looked. It was almost the same shade Nico looked when they managed to save him from the jar. "Are you alright?" She asked eagerly as she put her arm under her to support her.
"Yeah fine," Shade gulped. She tried to push away and ended up leaning back onto Zoe, "Mind helping me back to my room?"
She immediately agreed. "Here use my blade as a crutch, but don't lean on it too hard." She advised as she carried her friend up to their dorm.
Shade grabbed the blade and slightly leaned on in. Zoe was pretty nice, and Shadow was a butt.
Jamie looked over his schedule with a scowl on his face. "At least Elijah prepared me for stuff like this," He thought, remembering the times when his "friend" would send him to random time periods while he slept just to see how he would react when he woke up. He had done it with other dimensions too, though that had been less frequent. It was practically impossible to leave HH~43754, no matter how much magic was there. You had to know the right people in order to help you do it.
Jamie stepped into his room. It was bare and boring, much like all the other school dorm rooms he had been in.
Jamie turned around, his hand still on his dagger. He could hear people walking through the hallway.
Shade could feel her life force pulsing. In order to conserve energy she returned to her half-cat half-human.
Zoe didn't mind her transformation as she help her on her bed. It was better then what happened when she used too much of her magic. "You wanna talk about it?" She asked in a gentle voice as she sat on her bed.
Shade curled up into a small ball, "How much did you hear?"
"Well I heard the threat, that's for sure." She snorted. "You're not in that bad of shape though, I've been through worse." She observed.
Shade was tempted to ask which one, so she did, "Uh do you mind if I ask which threat?"
"What do you mean." She asked.
"Never mind," Shade shook her head, "So how are you dealing with the whole. Ya know, we're stuck in this school thing?"
"Like I know we'll be able to escape…., but it might be too late to help." She replied sadly turning the blade in her hand. The real question would be why didn't I become ghost? She thought quietly to herself.
"To help what?" Shade asked her.
"If you know so much about me then why don't you think about it." She said in annoyance. She didn't feel like talking much.
"I don't actually know that much about everyone," Shade sighed.
"Have you been here before and how much do you know." She snapped. The more she thought about it, the more she missed home.
Shade got quiet, "I. I can't tell you. I'm sorry."
She grunted in frustration and she went over to her bed and plopped down on it. Home. Home was a funny word. As someone who never grew up with parents, she never had one. Camp-Half Blood will always be your home. Those words rang through her brain. Home. There she felt so… welcome and free. She closed her eyes and imagined the strawberry fields, the forest, lake, the arena. Everything felt like home. More and more images come to her mind. The most heart-wrenching one was……Cody. (Am I allowed to go into detail?)
(Go ahead.)
Shade sighed as Zoe left the room. Shadow… Why did this happen to them? Why?
