(based on the musical)
basically a newsies roleplay. we'll experience the characters a little bit before going into the strike. none of the original characters, please!
RULES:
- proper grammar
- must be knowing of the time period we're in
- girls are ok, but only a few (the amount we can have is based on the number of people we have)
- no replicas of the actual characters
- don't get salty because i don't allow you to join
- lgbtq+ is ok, but please know the consequences of having one at that time (1899)

Looks: Black hair to her shoulder blades, tanned skin and golden brown eyes. She’s about 5’5 and well muscled, perfect for kicking ass. Wears dark pants with suspenders, boots, and an old grey t-shirt that’s about one size too small, paired with a grey newsboy cap.
Personality: Very ‘laughter is the best medicine’ and family oriented, always taking younger kids under her wing. She’s usually found with at least one of said kids listening intently as she tells stories.
Backstory (optional): Her and her family were immigrants from Cuba, but her parents were deported a year after arriving and sent her to live with a family friend. Said friend was a creep, so she ran away, dropping her baby brother off at an orphanage.
Other: Hella good pickpocket. Has a bat stuck through one of her belt loops.

oh, well em said that this is based off the musical, and the musical and movie are pretty similar
