Mani watched the others curiously, He didn't know how well he'd actually get along with them and assumed he would have to sneak away often for some alone time. Most people end up taking his silence and watchful eye for rudeness and the fact that him zoning out could be mistaken for ignoring people didn't help his cause.
(@RedEeveestar Awesome, you may join maybe when we return to the castle or something, it's open for you:) )
( @Norepinephrinxx Again, please wait your turn in posts. We don't want anyone getting ahead. I'll only grant limited warnings before I'll ask you to leave the rp)
Myst grins from ear to ear as she claps her hands together.
"Alright, and yes, Celine, Meredith will be so kind as to offer a portion of the castle to you. However, if you guys aren't too keen on participation, or are found sneaking around the castle in places you're not allowed to be in, you may be punished."
"Myst! I'm not secretive to my kingdom." Meredith turns to the guests with a gentle voice. "The entire castle is open for all of you."
I chuckle with disbelief and a hint of irritation.
"Whatever, but I won't hesitate to tell the queen if any of you misbehave."
"And I," Meredith interjects, about ready to cause a fight, "will take their actions into consideration before taking any actions. Right, Myst?"
I nod begrudgingly.
"Yeah, yeah. Let's go ahead and make our way to the castle now, before I'm forced to make you guys dinner here."
Sage stood slowly, still not used to the feeling of moving underwater for so long. His muscles ached, and he tried not to wince. He looked over at Myst, smiling as genuinely as he could. "I promise I won't get into any trouble," he said. Sage took a deep breath through his gills, making an uncomfortable face. He still wasn't used to the feeling of breathing underwater either.
Mani sat up from leaning against the wall feeling slightly uncomfortable himself but is getting used to the sensations of life underwater. He stays silent continuing to inspect the others to avoid zoning out.
( @Norepinephrinxx I'm going to have to ask you to read the rules in the first post before you make another post. If you do not follow the rules, I'm going to have to ask you to stop posting here.)
(I'm sorry I'm new to this and a bit confused about the rules so instead of causing trouble I'll just leave now to avoid messing up the roleplay)
( @Norepinephrinxx It's alright, I'm new too but it was an enjoyable journey in getting to know things and figuring out other people's different styles and asking questions for things I didn't understand. You're not at fault for not knowing. I gave you a few gentle reminders to help you better understand if you were confused. Hope that helped clear things up :) )
(Thanks for being understanding I'm a bit forgetful at times haha but I hope your roleplay goes well it's a great idea)
(thanks)
Charles woke up with a start and quickly jumped up to look around. His ears rung and the last thing he could remember was a fiery blast, then plunging deep into the icy water. Breathing deep to calm his racing heart, he saw a large castle not too far from him. /Well, I'm supposed to be dead. Might as well…/ he thought as he began his trek to the castle.
As Myst led the way, I took in my surroundings. It was strange to be looking over the city in this perspective. The oceanic colors seemed much brighter than usual - livelier - despite the chaos that was going on. I sighed, suddenly feeling exhausted.
"Myst? I-I want to know how heavy the workload will be. And, what kinds of things you'll make us do."
I inhale deeply as I walk around the town center. I don't often leave very far from my own house, so a walk to the castle was well due. Celine chimes in, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Myst?" She began, sighing, causing me to wonder if she needs a break. "I-I want to know how heavy the workload will be. And, what kinds of things you'll make us do."
I smile deviously, already prepared for this question.
"The workload will start out easy. Well, easy-ish. You all passed high school, right? It's like a really cool group project, except you don't have to worry about your partners not putting in any effort because they'll get kicked off the team if they don't participate!" I pause, almost as if waiting for a reaction, but continue regardless.
"First we're going to try and determine the motive of this group. Why are they attacking the queen? As far as we know, she's not tyrannical. Everyone seems happy, and no one necessarily wants a change. Except, of course, for this enigmatic group."
I take in a deep breath, gathering my remaining thoughts as I continue to talk.
"After that, it might be easier to narrow down our suspects. While it may be acceptable to find an accomplice, we're looking to figure out the leader of this organization. Once we do that, we can make our arrest. It's mostly a lot of reading and thinking, but if this organization grows violent, we'll have to go out into the field to protect the lives of the innocent, which may put our own lives in danger."
I spin around and look at the faces behind me.
"How does that sound?"
