(So I'm free to describe what it would look like?)
(Yep! It’s up to your imagination!)
Isa walks into it, and it looks like a forest invaded a library. In one corner, vines covered the ceiling, and a dark green venus flytrap was rooted into the ground. On the opposite side was a bookshelf filled with some feel-good YA novels. The walls were colored with a pattern of pink and light green stripes, and the ground was quite natural, a few patches of grass on the ground. It was natural, and very comfortable. Next to the bookshelf was a single bed, covered in some very warm sheets and blankets, in arms reach of the bookshelf. It was both a bookworms and a nature lovers haven. Isa instantly felt at home. He grinned wider than he ever had in so many years.
Kathy smirks, “Nice. You learn a lot about a person from their room…” he hums, looking at Isa. “Well, I see you’re just in love.” He chuckles softly. “If ya want, I’ll leave you to getting settled.”
"Sounds good! Thank you! I'll see you at dinner then." Isa has already begun picking through the bookshelf, like a kid who discovered a library.
Kathy smiles, chuckling softly to himself as he closes the door and walks away, his heavy footsteps echoed through the seemingly never ending hall.
Isa spends the hour and a half up to dinner simply enjoying the atmosphere of the room, and just reading multiple of the books on the bookshelf. Today is a good day. He thinks as he relaxes on the grassy ground.
A clock in the room chimes, and Goi calls out. “Supper!”
A squeal could be heard and small footsteps.
Isa smiles and closes his book. "I suppose those are all of the fellow inhabitants…" He puts the book back in its place on the bookshelf, and heads towards supper as well, a satisfied smile on his face.
Kathy meets him in the kitchen. “Hey. Like your room?” He gets tackled by a small child. He seemed almost seethrough as if he were made of smoke and his long brown bangs covered his eyes. “Big brother!”
Isa begins to answer, "Pretty-" but stops halfway when the child tackles Kathy. He lets the child talk to Kathy, going to finish answering later.
Kathy laughs, “Hey kiddo.” He smiles, looking at Isa. “This is buba.” He then mouths to him. ‘He’s dead but pretend he’s not.’ He picks up Buba, propping him on his hip. “We gotta new visitor…”
Buba hugs his stuffed bunny tightly. “Hi.”
Isa waves hello to Buba. "Hi! I'm Isa." He smiles at him and remembers Goi saying something about not looking Buba in the eyes. Probably something to do with the whole 'dead' thing. He just smiles and waves, watching Buba's reaction to him.
He smiles and waves back. “It’s nice to meet you, Mr.” he leans into Kathy’s shoulder.
Kathy smiles, “He’s a tad bit shy.” He chuckles.
Isa nods understandingly. "Sounds like me as a kid. Shied away from strangers, just read in the corner." Isa smiles at the kid again, then changes the subject. "So what are we having for supper anyways?"
Kathy smiles. “Tamales.” He nods to the kitchen, “Any allergies?”
"Nope. I can eat basically anything, no dietary restrictions of the sort."
Kathy smiles. “Good. We eat a variety here.” He plots down in a seat, setting buba down next to him.
The same person with a purple shirt from before walks up to Isa. “Aye.” They had a thick Australian accent.
"Uh.. Hi?" Taken aback for a moment by the sudden appearance, and the unfamiliar accent, Isa introduces himself. "Um.. I'm Isa. Hi."
They nods. “Noby.” They sit down, “where ya from mate?”
"Hmm… Nowhere really, I didn't exactly come from one place in particular. Mostly just drifted town to town, sticking to the forests and wilds." Isa began to sit down as he spoke. "So a little of everywhere, a little of nowhere."
Noby smirks. “Hm. No wonder.” They lean back in their seat, looking at Goi who brings the food out.
“Some people couldn’t join us sadly.”
Kathy rolls his eyes. “Tell jay to get his- butt down here.”
Goi giggles.
I suppose they wouldn't exactly need to join the group dinner since their room provides food for them… so just anti-social probably. He looked around, and remembered how long it had been since he'd ever eaten with anyone. It had been a while… most of the time it was just him and one other, he couldn't recall anytime he'd gathered around a table with people like a family of any sort. He smiled, and silently whispered, "Thank you."
Goi smiles, “Of corse!” She sits down, the people who were at the table began eating. After a moment, a man with a cowboy hat and boots walks in, stealing a plate. “Sorry ‘bout that, ya’ll- just got back from church.” He kisses Kathy’s forehead. “Heard we had a visitor. Welcome.” He smiles.
