(Not off the top of my head, no. What were you thinking?)
(Not off the top of my head, no. What were you thinking?)
(Well, I was thinking of making my character a werewolf/elemental hybrid or is that too op or something? Okay, so moving onto the ideas.
They all sound bad now that I've typed them out)
(Nooo those are good. Your idea of Kelton’s species sounds alright, and I like the second idea)
(Oh, thanks! and okay then, the second one it is. Last question, sorry Should it be day or night time?)
(It’s all good and uhh probably night??)
(Okay then, can you start? Sorryy, I'm terrible at starting)
(Sure)
Corbin was walking home from a bar late at night. He had met up with a friend from his Seal days, Wilson Stacy. Good man. He didn’t live far from the bar, and he was decently sober, so he decided some exercise would be good for his leg. He held onto Orion’s leash, the golden retriever walking along side of him. He was wearing his Navy Seals jacket to block his torso from the cold.
(Thanks!)
Kelton was currently running from two men in all black with guns and a few knives if they ever had to do close-range combat. On the other hand, Kelton had barely nothing to protect him from the cold as he ran, he was wearing clothes which were mostly ripped and cuts and bruises were visible from the rips. Just a bit longer….I need to find something to distract them from me. He thought as he ran like his life depended on it. His eyes fell up on two figures, one had a dog and the other looked very buff. As he neared the men, he glanced at the buff guy and saw police badge on his shirt, he quickly shoved the guy aside and grabbed the man with the dog, using him to turn around while taking out a knife and putting it at his throat. "Drop your weapons or I kill this guy." He threatened, glaring at the men then glanced at the dog. Don't bite me, don't bite me, don't bite me, don't bite me, don't bite me please.
Corbin heard footsteps approaching, and a slightly surpised gasp escaped his lips when he was grabbed by another. The man was shorter than him, but he did have a knife. His fingers itched to reach for the concealed weapon that was hidden in the waistband of his pants, but he waited a moment. He could take this guy if it came to it. He was rusty, but he trained for this shit. He was a Seal for Christsake, trained to kill the worst people out there. Orion gave a soft growl, one that was more defensive than anything. He gritted his teeth, glancing at the men. What the hell was going on? The worst thing he could do was panic..
Kelton internally sighed in relief when the dog didn't try to bite him. He could have picked the police man which probably made more of an effect on the people, he also wouldn't have needed to worry about the dog but it was too late. "What did you just say to us?" One of the men said, glaring heavily at Kelton. "You heard me correctly, drop your weapon or I kill this guy," He growled. "No, you won't, you can't, you're a scaredy cat," The man said. "You know how everyone says I'm crazy and insane, what makes you think I won't do it?" Kelton asked, a small smile on his face. He would do anything within his power to get out of that hellhole, even death seemed better than that place.
Corbin’s hand slowly began to move to his waist. “Let me go,” he growled in a low tone. “I don’t know what the hell is going on, and I don’t want any part of it,” he said. A muscle in his jaw twitched as he looked down at Orion, who had his ears pinned back. He listened to the people talking before speaking up again. “I don’t want any trouble. I don’t know if this is some gang or terrorist shit, but I was a Navy Seal, and I’m advising you to put whatever guns or weapons down.”
Kelton quickly glanced at the man who he was currently holding 'hostage.' What the men said was true, he knew he would never kill someone then live on as if nothing happened. "I won't do anything to you, I promise, so please just play along," He whispered in the man's ear. He would do anything to get out of that place. One of the men tapped the others shoulder and whispered something in his ear, the other nodded in understanding then they both pointed their guns at Kelton. "We got orders that we can kill you if we can't capture you." One of them said, a smirk evident on his face.
Corbin’s jaw clenched when the man holding him whispered in his ear. “I think that your promise could be shit,” he muttered in a sharp tone in response. He couldn’t trust this man, but he chose to wait a moment.
Kelton clenched his jaw and sighed. "You know what, kill me if you want, I don't fucking care anymore, it's better than going back to that place," He said, letting go of the man and dropping his knife while holding his hands up in surrender. It was stupid of me to think this was going to work… He thought as he glanced at the men. "Well, are you going to do any-" He started but was cut off by a loud gunshot, one of the men just shot him the shoulder. Kelton let out a small scream, clutching his arm in pain as he looked up to glare the men but they had already left. He then glanced at the man he was holding hostage a few moments ago then quietly walked away. Great, I'm going to die from blood loss on the streets now. He thought sarcastically.
Corbin, not expecting to be let go of so suddenly, just about stumbled and fell. Orion hade given a bark at that. He flinched at the sound of the gunshot, anxiety bolting through him. It made him think of the gunfire that he experienced, and Orion began to whine and nudge at him with his nose.
Kelton kept walking away, hissing in pain every so often. He didn't know why he thought it was an good idea to do that, he could have the picked the other man which would have given him a better than to survive through that. I hate this everything, why did I do that? I could've just took a sharp turn to the left or right and that would have thrown them off for a few seconds…right? He sighed and glanced at his shoulder, it was staining his shirt and was started to seep down his arm. He had no idea what to do as he desperately looked around, for anything that could help him stop the bleeding.
Corbin eventually straightened and breathed out sharply to try and calm down. He ran a hand through his hair and glanced around, feeling a bit more tense, now. He picked up Orion’s leash and began to walk again in the direction of where his small home was.
Kelton glanced at the man that was walking away with his dog, maybe he could help, it was stupid but he was very desperate right now. "H-Hey, I-um-do you know how to stop my shoulder from bleeding?" He asked awkwardly, not sure what to do at all. He was terrible at talking to people which was the reason he acted cold to them at first.
Corbin tensed at the sound of the man’s voice, the same one that he had heard in his hear previously. Now, though, it was a bit more uneasy sounding than it had been before. “Stay away from me,” he bit out, his eyes flicking to glance at the man’s injured shoulder.
Kelton sighed and put his hands up to show he wasn't going to do anything. "Okay then, fine, I'll just go bleed out on the streets and die. Thank you very little, what-ever-your-name-is," He said as he smiled innocently at the man before walking away the opposite direction, quietly hissing in pain every so often.
(Oh my god okay i gotta say that it annoys me when i see in one on ones where you asked to join and people say no for no reason like what the fuck ?? I love rping with you, and I personally think it’s so rude that people say no to others)
Corbin’s eyes narrowed at the other. He watched the man walk away, and had debated following to help. The guy hadn’t hurt him, and even said that he wouldn’t.. Orion tugged on his leash, giving a quiet whine. I am so going to regret this.. he thought. “Hey, hold up!” He called.
(Aww thanks! By the way, they either say no because I'm in too many rps with them or they don't like for some reason that I don't know of)
Kelton turned around when he heard something and glanced at the man. "What now? Do you also want to shoot me? Kick me? Punch me? Go ahead, I'll just die faster then," He said coldly, switching back to his normal personality. It was stupid of me to think what I did before was going to work. He thought, glancing at the dog then back at the man.
(Yeah, im talking about when people just say no for some reason like dont be rUde smhh)
Cobrin’s jaw clenched at the man’s words. He could shoot him with his concealed carrier, but he decided against it. He would be the one charged with manslaughter. “I.. I’ll help you,” he said after a moment. He shifted his weight onto his good leg a bit, licking his lips for a quick moment.
(Lol, I don't care much about it though)
"What do you mean? You just told me to stay away from you though," Kelton replied, a slightly confused look on his face. Was the man planning on doing something to Kelton later?
(Well that’s good that you don’t let it get to you)
Corbin gave a sharp huff. “God, just ignore what I said earlier,” he said, an edge to his tone. “Look, do you want help or not?” He asked, folding his arms, now.
