"I have a treehouse."
"I have a treehouse."
Phiri shook her head. "No. We must be out of the trees." She then dove back into the bushes, hoping they would follow her.
"She's a Dryad I trust."
Livy followed the fox silently.
*Phiri. Followed Phiri.
"The trees are spies remember? And some are not on our side. We have to trust Phiri."
"Well, most trees stand for Aslan."
"Yes. But we should still be cautious." Eliana added, getting a little impatient for whatever reason.
Phiri turned and huffed. "There's hardly any trees for Aslan left at all." she growled, continued through the bushes.
"Because they are being chopped down." Becky said grimly.
"Chopped down? Why?" Eliana said, concerned.
"The enemy is choking out every bit of light and life. That includes the trees." Phiri whispered, jumping across a small stream.
"I see…" Eliana muttered.
Phiri hopped over one giant boulder, and it opened into a field. There weren't trees in front or on either side for miles.
"Oh my… I see what you were talking about now." Eliana caught sight of the barren lands. The grass was not as green as it should and the plants grew in the shade.
"Come." Phiri ordered, plunging into the thick and tall grass of the field, running farther from the trees.
Eliana followed tentatively.
