"The fact that you personally aren't experiencing it is probably good, it could mean that you have some sort of strength against it, or that your branch of magic is more heavily protected against it. The fact that some others are means that there could be some sort of darkness in the magic system, maybe a Black Magic rising somewhere." Aethelind shivered slightly.
"Where could that possibly be?" Kenna asked, leaning back in her chair.
"I don't know… our magic could be affected because we're in close proximity to whatever is happening, or witches across the globe could be affected as well. We'd have to reach out to know, the last major uprising was way back in WW2."
Moira shrugs. "It could just be a rise in the amount of magic-users, sapping the energy but…" She trails off and gestures to the small amount of people around her. "We're the fourth biggest coven in the North East, so I don't know about that. Maybe something….sinister is afoot."
"If it was a rise in magic-users, I don't think my cherry blossom branch would've wilted. It only does that when there's a high concentration of negative energy in the air." Aethelind chewed on her bottom lip.
(Hello guys. I've been stalking this for a while (I was interested but didn't join) and I just wanted to suggest a few things if I may…)
"yeah, same. I have a little light orb thingy back at my apartment, and it sinks lower every day. "
Aethelind's brow furrowed. This was worrying. "Maybe we should reach out to the other covens in the North East to see if they are experiencing similar things?"
"Already have. Rae's traveling already with a message." Rae was Moira's other familiar, a sunny yellow sparrow
"I could contact some family members who are connected to some other heads… But in all honesty, I think that this is just local and there's some dark energy brought here. And I don't trust that god. He.. unsettles me. Maybe he has something to do with this." Flair piped up. The name, Luke Dawson, was coming back to her.

(you has the suggestions..?)

(Yes the suggestions. ^~^
Okay so
the God thing
it has to go.
It makes no sense to the topic (considering everyone is a witch)
Plus having parent Gods would make one a Demigod.
sasses
Get your fantasy ideology correct.)
( i think the luke dawson person may have left) (the god thing was a little weird)
(agreed the god thing just felt weird to me)
( Yeah sorry I will drop out then )
( SORRY I wasn't making since can I make my charecter run in late or something???)
( Yeah sorry I will drop out then )
Maybe that’s for the best. Sorry dude
Aethelind sighed, scratching Holly behind her large floppy bunny ears. "The most important thing right now is not to get in over our heads. We've got to be careful about how we proceed before we know the facts. Maybe some more magic monitoring substances?"
Cas wandered around the forest, collecting ingredients for potions and things and stashing them neatly in her backpack. She was aware there was a covern of witched but she had been hesitant to join ever since she heard about it.
“Sounds good. I’d suggest everyone gets something like Aethlind’s (is that spelled right? Autocorrect sux) branch or my orb thing, so you can tell if anything’s up. “ she smiles. “It’s easy, if anyone needs help, just come ask me.”
(Okay, i’ll Remember that.)
Aethelind absentmindedly played with the tassels on her shawl. “I can give the name of different plant providers that sell energy-monitoring floral arrangements, branches are trickier because you have to find a fallen one and water it with moon water weekly.”
