"That… was an odd thing to say. But… thank you? For that?" Beatriz says, her voice phrasing her words as a question.

"I don't know?" Lurestral turns the heat off, opening a cabinet where she'd stored the silverware. "I get a little lost in my weird mind, sometimes," she admits with a giggle. Grabbing a bowl and fork, she dumps the pot in the sink. "By the way…" Lure gazes at the pot in the sink. Cleaning could wait. She carries the steaming bowl to Beatriz. "I'm pretty sure you said 'sorry' four times in that conversation with CC."
"That does not count. I was being stupid. That's a valid reason for apology!" She defended, crossing her arms after accepting the ramen from Lure.
"Does it really not count?" Lure teased, plopping herself on the couch. "I don't know… I think you said sorry twice in the same sentence one time…" In truth, Lure had no idea if that happened. She pretended to look away, all the same, as if seriously contemplating the validity of Beatriz's apologies.
"Wha - I - no, I didn't" Beatriz argued, eating her ramen almost defensively.
Laughter imbued with infectious happiness escapes Lure as she tries to act serious. "Aww, dangit. I was having fun messing with you." She finally dares to meet Beatriz's eyes, guiltily raising her hands. "Just kidding?"
Beatriz rolls her eyes. "Fine, fine," she says as she crawls back into her bed. She leans against the pillow for a moment, glad to be away from people. Except Lure, who, for some reason doesn't really count as a "people."
Pretending to pump a fist in the air, Lure in turn, snuggled into her mattress and transformed into a burrito relative. "Beatriz? I'm going to help you," her innocent voice promised. "You'll become so confident, and laugh in all those boys' faces."
She pulled out her notebook, writing: I promised to help her. I can help. Yes, I will help Beatriz Star.
Beatriz smiles faintly. "That would be nice," she admits, "I think I'm hopeless, though. There's no way for me to be confident. Except maybe brain surgery."
"Hopeless? Nothing's hopeless," Lurestral confidentially claims, once again tracing the pendent resting on her neck. "Most certainly not you. And I don't fancy brain surgery, either," she states pointedly. Resting her blue notebook on the counter adjacent to the bed, she flicks the lights off. "Goodnight, Beatriz."
Beatriz smiles again, settling into her bed. "Goodnight."
(I'm assuming time skip unless Lynn wants to do something else. I hafta to sleep now. Loll but I'm not going to. What time is it over there, MJ?)
(It's like midnight. I'm going running at 6 tomorrow, but, like, pfft, who needs sleep? What even is sleep? Sleep? Never heard of her.)
(Sleep? Huh, she sounds like a weird one. Do Sleepees pray to her before the ritual of Sleeping?)
(I don't know, man. I don't fully understand the rituals and customs of the Sleepees.)
(We should probably stop clogging this rp with our speculations. We can only take wild guesses at how the Sleepees live. :(( )
(Hey, er, wanna pm me? So we don't clog up the rpYOUDON'THAVETO I'm just really bored, and… yay.)
(yeah time skip)
Seo Hyeon was kind of sad that she didn't have a roommate. But she's glad that she got to talk to those to sweet girls.
"Ah I forgot I didn't get their numbers!
They probably though "oh whos this ugly little Korean girl getting all up in my bizz?" Ugh I'm an idiot."
She says to her self as she's getting ready to go out to breakfast. She's happy that they do have all of the meals together. Its a nice thing to have.
Once shes all ready she gets her bag and heads out into the hallway.
btw that roleplay that I just started I switched it to the wildcard roleplaying.
Lure had successfully wormed herself into a tight mini bundle of blankets and warmth overnight. When the all too familiar beeping rang through the dorm, she practically screams. Lure pounds her little fist on the stand, blindly reaching for the phone. She succeeds in finding the phone, only to knock it off the stand by accident. In resignation, Lurestral flips and buries her face in her pillow, drowning out the persistent ringing.
Beatriz jolts up, hearing a loud ringing noise. "What was that?" She whispers, nearly falling off her bed.
Draven is already up. He usually wakes up very early in the morning, and today is no exception. He rubs his face and sighs, pulling on his usual outfit. He’s not hungry, and wants to stay in his room. Or be alone. But his roommate is here.
I could go outside, he thinks.
Pulling on his shoes and jacket, Draven moves outside and starts walking around the grounds, admiring everything around him. He plugs in his earphones and plays some music.
"That was Satan calling. He wants a refund…" Lure mumbles on and on as she crafts a dramatic tale of Satan, angels, and a loaf of bread. She's not always right in the mornings.
(I see what you did there)
Beatriz stares in confusion. "Um, ok," she mumbles before jumping out of her bed to get ready. She's completely ready within minutes, though she looks in the mirror and frantically shakes her head. No, I look stupid. That's stupid, too. Is there anything in this suitcase that isn't stupid?
(I knew you'd catch it ;)
Lure's hair is sprawled over the pillow, and she sits up in awe of Beatriz's quick routine. "How do you even have enough internal strength to get up in the mornings?" She picks up her stubborn phone, canceling the alarm quite vigorously. Her eyes brighten, and she squeals, "It's the first day of school!" With that thought, Lurestral pops from her mattress, rejuvenated.
