She shoots a curious glance at the girl. "I'm sure," she gently murmurs. "What… what are your hobbies? Asides from modeling, of course. What helps you unfold?"
She shoots a curious glance at the girl. "I'm sure," she gently murmurs. "What… what are your hobbies? Asides from modeling, of course. What helps you unfold?"
"I, um, I don't really like modeling," Beatriz says quietly, feeling her heart rate slow. "I really like reading, and - and writing. But I'm not very good at it."
Her thoughts zoom out of her brain as Lure gapes at Beatriz. "I love words, too," she finally confesses, acknowledging the statement. "I won't pressure you into showing me anything, but if you love writing, have you considered having a diary or notebook? You can pour your stress into the pages."
"Yeah, I actually have… a lot - too many notebooks," she says, suddenly feeling a wave of exhaustion rush over her.
A smirk graces Lure's face, "Me too." She gestures vaguely to where she started unpacking, notebooks sprawled and scattered all over the dorm. "Sorry about that." A guilty face not at all apologetic flops into the bed, seemingly drained. Notebooks are holding me onto sanity.
Beatriz smiles a bit sadly. Then she almost gasps, realizing she's let go of her mask. She quickly regains her composure, looking as much like how she's expected to be as she possibly can.
"Honey…" Lurestral's gentle voice emerges from the pillows. "There are no cameras here. It's just me, and if you have to put on an act for me, I'm offended." She stated, half serious.
"Sorry, I just, um… I - I usually get yelled at for - sorry, I don't really know how to, er, just talk to people?" Beatriz says, wincing at herself. That may be the single stupidest sentence ever said. Well done.
Ryuus a little taken back by the fact that he cursed but still amazed by what just happened.
The wind rustles through the leaves of the trees then through his hair. He looks at Draven as he looks at the deer. He can see the wind rustle through his dark hair, it kind of looks blue
did he dye it once?
He looks up at the sky as the wind blows leaves in a circle above them then flies away.
he seems cool
Bubbly laughter escapes Lure's throat, and she quickly coughs to hide her amusement. "You don't have to wear a mask… but I think you don't really know who you are behind that mask yet, either," she contemplates. "Do what feels right. Not in the sense that a camera is on you, but what feels right to you." Lure fights hard to differentiate her own voice from hers. "Keep talking to me about yourself."
"Ok," Beatriz says quietly. "I - I was born in Paris. Which is stereotypical, I know. My mum made me start modeling when I was 6. Then my brothers got into the family business. My parents prefer them, but that's fine, if you ask me. One of my brothers, Caden, actually pays attention to me, but… the other one hates me," she says, frowning for a moment. Frowning causes wrinkles, her mother's voice says in her head.
Lurestral visibly breathes a sigh of relief. "You look so much more human without that artificial smile on your face - no offense. Caden was the one with you earlier…" it's her turn to frown. "Why would anyone hate you, much less your own brother?"
"Oh, um, I don't know. can be pretty annoying. I don't know if he hates me, he just… he never really shows any emotion other than anger. But then, neither does my dad, so… I suppose that makes sense," Beatriz says, as though lost in her thoughts.
A comfortable silence settles in, Lure gathering this information. Suddenly, in a concerned tone: "They've never expressed this anger out on you, have they?"
"Oh, um… I guess - it's not really a big - that is, it's not," she took a breath, "i, um, yes, you could say that. It wasn't too bad though," she winces at the memory.
Her sharp gaze snaps to Beatriz's face, analyzing every feature. Lure's eyes implore for a better answer, but she knows not to push it. "You can tell me in your own time," she assures.
Beatriz looks to the floor. "I just… I'm clumsy, so I've - I accidentally broke some things. A-anyway, I fell down the stairs. But, only once or twice, I think, and I'm fine now, so…." she says very fast, wanting her thoughts and memories out of her head.
"That's messed up," she whispers. "Hey, Beatriz. Look at me. Breathe. Okay, there you go," Lure's soothing voice calmly instructs exercise after exercise to prevent the girl from going back into her mask for reassurance.
"I - I'm fine," Beatriz repeats quietly. She feels tears springing into her eyes, and forces them away, feeling angry at herself. No one wants to hear about your issues, why did you even tell her that?
"That means a lot to me," Lure quietly states. "You, trusting me enough to share that."
It's ironic, in a sick way, how even those who sit on top of the world face the longest of falls. Lurestral writes, silently.
Beatriz manages a small smile. "i - I'm glad. Sorry, I don't even know why I keep talking so much. I don't usually do this and - sorry."
An easy grin pops onto Lure's face. "Welcome to How to Social Interaction 101. Rule #1. Every time you apologize - that I deem unnecessary - you have to…" she pauses for a moment, thinking of a proper punishment.
“You know what?” Draven asks, backing away. “I’m leaving. This is too freaky.” He starts back towards the building. A weird, tingling feeling starts to go though him, staring from his wrist, and he winces. Then his eyes widen. Sore wrist, tingling, weird things happening? Damnit.
Ryuu looks at the deer and the looks back at Draven. He follows Draven out of the area.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?… I'm sorry…… "
Ryuu looks over at Draven worried about him.

"Wait, but if I don't apologize then people might think I'm just being rude or - or that I don't care about their feelings, and, and - " she breaks off, unsure of what to say.
