Moxiey woke up, sitting up with a start. No one else was awake yet, so she got up and swam to the mouth of the cave, looking out into the sea.

River floated at the entrance of her and her sister's cave, stretching her arm and tail out. She gasped happily when she remembered why she had woken up so early, and headed towards the surface.

Mosley saw another mermaid heading for the surface. She glanced once back in her cave and hesitated. She eventually followed the mermaid. Cautiously.

River stopped, carefully poking her head out above the water, smiling as the warm sun hit her face. Lovely.
She could see the shore in the distance ahead.

Moxiey did the same thing a couple yards behind her. What was she up to?

River figured she should at least leave something to let her sister know she was leaving. Again. She dived (dove?) back down, looking for one of her 'human collectibles' to put by the cave entrance.

Moxiey looked around when the other girl dove (dived?) back down. She noticed something in the distance - a boat - and headed towards it.

(lol, looked it up. It can be either, but 'dived' is the traditional version :3)
River picked up a old phone case and went back to the cave, sticking it into the sand right next to the rock Sky always checks, then went back to the surface.

Moxiey reached the ship and discovered that it was the same one she'd seen yesterday. "Well, what does she look like?"
"I… I don't know. I only saw her for a second!"
Moxiey froze.

Rhea woke up and went to go find moxiey

Mosley stayed out of sight and listened to their conversation.
"You have to remember!"
"But I don't! I only saw her for an instant. Then she was… Gone."
"Was she beautiful?"
"More beautiful than any other woman I've ever seen."
"Even the governor's daughter?"
The man sighed. "Yes, Thomas."
"I'm only asking."
