"Finally." His sister's voice warms him, banishing the cold fear from his mind as he steps into the small hut he shares with the rest of his family. The three youngest ones crowd around him, giggling with excitement.
"Did you get us our supper, Rob?" One of them asks, and he pulls out one of the rabbits. He chuckles at their indifference toward the small bit of blood and the limpness of the creatures as he hands each one a rabbit and they carry them to their oldest sibling. His sister doesn't even grimace as she starts to prepare them.
The sibling just under him, age 17, lies curled up on his pallet. "What's up with Blake?" Robin's sister pauses in skinning the rabbits to say sharply, "He's refused to eat anything all day, but I don't feel any fever."
Robin frowns and goes over to Blake, brushing a lock of thick hair away from his brother's forehead. "Heya, Blake."
(I have no idea what to do here… Amethyst is just somewhere in the woods…)
(@Sorceress, I have no idea. Maybe you run into them at the beach…?
@Within_The_Shadows this may be a good time for Levi to come back in)
(Lol. Okay. I'll find something to post somewhere.)
“I could help you out with that. Get some real practice.” He suggested. “I’ve actually been looking for someone to spar with.”
“Works for me.” Victoria readied her sword. “Go.”
Travis sheathed his sword. “Wait, not now. I just did… a lot. I’m tired.” He laid down right where he was and closed his eyes.
“You’re trusting…” Vic muttered, sheathing her sword. “Fine.” She sat next to the boy.
“Even if you were to try to do something.. that’s all you’d be able to do… try.” he said, resting his arms behind his head.
Travis smirked and turned his head in her direction.
“And this is the part where I’d usually stab you,” Victoria grinned. “But I’m feeling nice today.”
“Aw,” He said lifting his hand to his heart in sarcasm. “Thanks sweetheart. That’d never happen though.”
“Would too,” Victoria scoffed. “Just ‘cause I’m a girl does not mean I can’t fight.”
“No, no. I belive women can be excessively better then men at anything.” Travis explained with a serious tone. “I’m just to good.” He said after moment, smirking once again.
“Sure,” Victoria nodded. “Of course. It’s not like you sheathed your sword incorrectly or anything.”
“How would you sheath a sword incorrectly?” He laughed. “I mean, I didn’t miss so…”
Victoria smiled. “See? You believed me for a second. It’s actually really hard to screw that up, though I’m sure you’ll manage someday.”
“You wish.” He muttered, not being able to come up with any better comeback.
//what’s a good ship name
“I don’t have to wish. I know,” Victoria laughed.
