@Mr.Misfit
So I tried to do this in futuristic where it belongs, but no one lives there. This is the next best place, I guess…
Anyone who’s done a roleplay with me knows I use one of three characters in sci-fi: Elizia, Brella, or Alaria. I decided that I’d focus a little more on Elizia and Brella Arazael, sisters and members of the Mechanist Faction. These two, as well as my Mechanist sub-plot, have been my biggest recent focus in regards to my Serathem Project, which is a sci-fi universe I’m building based on a race I made three years ago in Stellaris.
Here’s some vocabulary for ya:
Lovuthan: A race of humanoids capable of generating and storing pure energy, called Tis’Sindri in their language. They store larger quantities of this energy by creating additions to themselves with it. Brella and Elizia use butterfly wings(though they can’t fly with them), while other use it as armor or shielding. They mainly use laser technology to fight, and all of their technology is powered by Tis’Sindri.
Mechanists: The black sheep of the Lovuthan species. This is a faction of workers, mechanics, tinkerers, and realists where the majority of Lovuthans are devout spiritualists. Though typically left to their devices by most other Lovuthans, they often leave Love (The planet, not the feeling) far behind and work with more accepting species.
Lovuthans worship the Golden Age. That is, once upon a time they were nearly 5 times what they are now, but in a key stage of their star’s development their energy reacted and nearly caused a chain reaction of death. The ruins left behind still react to modern Lovuthan energy, and they began to worship them as they recovered from the near-extinction event.
So I want to do a Roleplay based on this to try and feel out the world a bit more, and maybe develop a practice draft for The Mechanists.
I’ll probably be playing Brella this time, as Elizia most likely won’t be out of the house yet. If anyone’s interested or has questions, just let me know!
