”Is that all?” he asked, smirking a little. ”I was already awake. I… I heard something… fall? Is everything alright?”

"Laura-Beth fell off her bed" she said

”Is she ok?” he asked, a little worried but still mostly confident that the little girl was. Laura-Beth was still half-vampire… And part wolf too.

She smiled softly and nodded

Evan sighed in relief. ”Good.”

She reached down and kissed him softly

He hummed softly in mild surprise but happily returned the kiss.

She pulled away with a smile

He smiled back at her. ”What was that for?”

" can't I kiss you?" She asked

”Of course. Anytime.” he smiled, nodding a little.

She got up out of the bed

Evan slowly sat up and stretched out his arms.

She held out her hand

He took her hand and got out of bed, wearing only sweatpants as pajamas.

She laced their fingers heading to the twins room

He smiled and walked along side her.

Evan hesitated for a moment at the door. He didn't want to make either of them sick.

Cole happily leaned against her.

Evan looked over at the twins with a soft smile. He so wanted to go over to them and pick them up, but he wasn't sure what might set off their conditions.
