"Alex!'' Tyler shouted and Alex came up unlocking the gate and opening it

Henry almost smirked at Tyler but didn't say anything.

Evan stayed silent as well.

Tyler walked inside and in the middle where the pack trained there was Betty's blood

”Tyler… What were you and Bets doing here?” Henry asked softly, looking around. ”I know you girls said you were going to work but… Do you both work here?”

"yeah but Betty's the alpha and I'm the packs nurse" Tyler said

Henry nodded, giving Tyler a small proud smile. ”That’s a very important job… For both of you, I mean. How long have you been doing that?”

"awhile" tyler said

Henry nodded again and started looking around, on the off chance that Betty's crystal had just fallen off during the fight… Though he was very doubtful of it being that simple.

Tyler sighed " it's not here" she said

”I didn't think it was. I just wanted to be sure.” Henry sighed, shoving his hands in his pockets. ”It’d be a lot easier if we knew where those three were staying. They probably moved since the last time we saw them so the old addresses I have for them won't work.”

" so what do we do" Tyler asked

”We still have to find them.” Henry said, trying to think of something.

”Did Betty manage to draw any blood from Kameron during the attack?” Evan asked as he stood in the middle of where the fight took place.

"Yeah but it's mixed with this blood" she said

”That’s more than enough for me.” Evan almost smirked, breathing in the smell of both types of blood. Betty's was more prominent but he could still make out the scent of Kameron’s blood.

" how will this help?" She asked

”Werewolves aren't the only ones who can track by scent.” Evan explained. ”And being the Vampire King, I can distinguish the two types easier than Henry can.”

She nodded stepping back and crossing her arms

”You alright, babe?” Henry asked softly.

"Yeah" she said

Henry nodded, sighing as his attempt at conversation fell flat.

”This way.” Evan finally said as he started walking.

Tyler quickly followed the king of the vampires

Henry followed after Tyler, watching carefully… For what he wasn't sure but, it seemed prudent.

" Evan where are we going?" She asked

”… Depends on how you want me to answer.” Evan finally admitted. ”Obviously we’re following Kameron’s scent but I don't know the exact location where we’ll end up.” he said honestly.

"Okay" she said with a nod
