”Hey, it's ok. I'm not going to hurt you.” Henry promised. ”I’m just going to take a look at it and clean around the wound.”

She pulled lysander in front of her

Lysander let her pull him and turned to face her.

Henry sighed, a little exasperated. ”Do you want him to do it?” he asked.

She nodded softly

Henry nodded and handed the medical supplies to Ly. ”She’s all yours.”

”Don’t you have to tell your girlfriend something?” Lysander quipped lightly before turning back to his wife.

Betty looked at lysander with watery eyes

Lysander smiled softly to assure her. ”Well, the fact that both eyes are watering is a good sign.” he pointed out kindly.

She sniffled more tears rolling down her cheeks

He lightly brushed away her tears, though he avoided touching the injury. ”It’s alright, my angel. It's alright.” he comforted as he gently hugged her, letting her cry on his shoulder.

She sobbed on his shoulder

He held her gently and let her cry, massaging her back comfortingly.

She pulled back still not talking

He smiled softly and placed a light kiss on her forehead. ”Ready?” he asked, gesturing to the medical supplies.

She nodded

He gave her an encouraging smile and very gently started treating the cut around her eye.

She winced gently

He didn't physically react to that as he continued to clean the injury, though he did nod a little in understanding.

Tyler frowned at her

Henry raised a brow at Tyler's expression as Lysander was too focused to notice it. ”What’s wrong, babe?”

She nodded to Betty's neck where her crystal was gone

Henry's eyes widened in surprise as he swore softly in Romanian. ”We gotta find that. You said she could last three days without it, right?” he whispered.

Tyler nodded

Henry nodded. ”Then we should hurry. We’ll have to check where you got attacked and if it's not there then we can get her brothers involved in the search.” he suggested.
