Lysander wasn't too surprised that she had been trying to do something sneaky. She probably did that when she passed out… Or appeared to… He wasn't sure anymore. ”Good.” he chuckled. ”He was supposed to do that anyway. We didn't know when but at least now…” he gripped Tyler tightly, but still not enough to hurt her. ”When she wakes up, we’ll have something for her to drink.”

Her eyes widened "No!" She screamed trying to pull away

Her struggles didn't even tickle Lysander. ”You brought this on yourself. If you hadn't shown up and forced us to do this so soon, none of this would be happening.” he pointed out with a snarl.

Betty layed in his arms eyes closed

”We’re almost there, Bets. I can see his house.” Henry told her, even though she was unconscious. ”We’ll take care of you and teach you everything.”

Tyler struggled against Lysander

”Stop fighting. You'll hurt yourself.” Lysander warned. ”We’ll take care of you while you're here.”

”Woah! Ly, what are you doing?” Henry asked with wide eyes.

Tyler hissed in pain as her neck throbbed

”Is that from my bite or are you still linked?” Lysander asked Tyler in slight warning before addressing Henry. ”How’s Betty?”

”She seems to be doing fine.” Henry assured. ”But what’s going on with her?”

She shut her eyes and undid the link and her neck no longer hurt.

”She’s going to be staying here until Betty wakes up.” Lysander said simply but coldly.

Henry immediately understood what his brother meant. ”Ly.” he started, shaking his head. ”I get why you think that's a good idea but do you really think Betty would go through with that? I remember how thirsty I was when I woke up and I know you do too, but Betty's not a vengeful person. I don't think she'll do it.”

TYler struggled ¨She´s pure evil¨ she said ¨I will kill her¨ she said.

Both vampires blinked for a moment at what Tyler said before laughing. Lysander was really only chuckling while Henry, if Betty wasn't in his arms, would have doubled over.

TYler snarled ¨ill find something she loves¨ she said and looked at Lysander ¨And kill her that way¨

Henry gently placed Betty on the couch before wiping a tear of laughter away. ”Don’t misunderstand. We’re not laughing at your threats, not really.” he explained. ”It’s mostly you calling Betty evil that’s hilarious. If she's evil then I have a halo.” he chuckled.

Lysander nodded in agreement. ”Betty is the kindest person I have ever met. If she ever did anything to hurt someone it would be out of self-defense or to protect someone she cares about.” he met Tyler's eyes unflinching. ”Fair warning though, if you try to hurt any of us, you’ll have to deal with four angry vampires.”

¨And Why´s that If I hurt your beloved Betty¨ she said. ¨She´s not so special she´s not worthy or your love¨ she said looking at Lysander. ¨Or Your Friendship¨ she looking at henry.

”That may be what you think but the fact is that I do love her. More than you can understand.” Lysander told her.

”And she’ll always be my friend, even if I don't deserve it.” Henry confirmed with a light sight.

Tyler growled ¨She´ll die ¨ One way or another¨ she said and looked at Betty Light surrounding her.

”Oh, no you don't.” Henry said, quickly picking up Betty. He sent a glare at Tyler before taking Betty upstairs to her room. Waking up in a familiar environment would be more comforting for her.

Lysander groaned in annoyance. ”If you keep this up, things will get worse for you during your stay. And you're already on thin ice.” he warned, running his free hand through his hair, accidentally showing off the sun ring Betty gave him.

¨What´s that¨ she asked nodding to his ring.

”Hmm?” Lysander took a moment to realize what she was asking about. ”Oh. This? It's a sun ring. Betty gave it to me. It keeps me safe from prolonged exposure to sunlight.” he smiled softly at the memory of receiving it and what he already used it for.

¨Why´s it on your ring finger then?¨ she asked completely clueless.
