She sighed softly

“You still don’t believe me?” he asked, a little hurt.

"I don't" she said

He sighed softly. ”What can I do to convince you that I’m telling you the truth?” he asked, almost begging.

" promise me you won't trade me for anything that you won't try to change me that I'm the only girl for you that you only love me that you'll put me first and that you won't replace me" she said

”You know I won't do that to you and you are. You’re absolutely perfect and I wouldn't dream of changing you. Nothing in the world could take your place in my life.” he told her. ”But if that's what you want to hear, then of course I promise. I promise all of that, every word.”

She nodded "okay"

“I promise.” he said again, the cool metal of his ring rubbed against her skin.

She sniffled

He gently pulled her closer to him. ”What’s wrong?” he asked softly.

She shook her head "Nothing"

He frowned slightly at that. ”Please, love. Tell me.” he said, rubbing her arm.

"It's nothing" she said

”You’re crying.” he pointed out gently. ”That doesn't seem like nothing to me.” he said, kissing her cheek. ”I want to help you.”

"don't worry about it" she said

”I can't help worrying about the ones I love the most.” he told her.

She sighed closing her eyes

”Is it something I did?” he asked gently.

She pulled the covers to her shoulders

He sighed at her lack of answer and rested his forehead against her shoulder blade. ”I’m sorry.”

"I love you" she said

”I love you too.” he replied sincerely, a soft smile coming to his face. ”More than anything.”

She closed her eyes

He gently hugged her.
