She sighed " lysander if we get married I'll constantly be away on these missions…is that someone you want to be with?" She asked

He gently held her hand a little tighter. ”I’d rather you stopped doing this but I know you won't.” he sighed. ”If you have to keep leaving like this then… I could go with you.” he offered.

She shook her head " we get busted up bad ly we kill vampires they need me to survive thier my family but you Tyler Henry and Asher are too so I need to keep you safe" she said

”And what about you? I know you are with your brothers when you go on these missions but who keeps you safe?” he asked. ”At the very least, will you call me if you need help or when a mission is over so I know you're alright?”

She let go of his hand and ran a hand through her hair hissing at the pain in her side.

Lysander winced a little at her sound of pain, wishing again that he could help. He glanced at his wrist thoughtfully. He had fed recently so there should be some blood in his veins. Maybe it would help. He looked back up at his love.

She sighed looking at the blood In her tube

Lysander almost rolled his eyes. ”Are you drinking any?” he asked.

She nodded " yes dad" she said coldly

He signed. ”I’m sorry, Betty. I just want you to get better and the best way for a vampire to get better is to drink blood. I know you're more than a vampire but… It's all I know as far as healing.”

" just go take care of yourself I'll be fine don't worry about me" she said

”I can't help it.” he shook his head.

She sighed " I love you" she said

”I love you too.” He smiled and leaned over, gently placing a kiss on her forehead.

Three months passed and it was the big day. The boys were we're already at the woods and further in there was a little section for the after party of.course it was a long time if you walked by the girls were still at the house

" Tyler I can't do this" Betty said in her dress and shoes and tiara

" You can and will" Tyler said in a simple black dress

Lysander was pacing, trying to fix his tie. ”I can't believe this is happening. I’m actually getting married.” he said in nervous excitement.

”Believe it, little brother.” Henry chuckled as he brushed off the sleeve of his new tux.

Tyler face timed Henry since Betty was now pacing in the living room

Henry stepped a little ways away from the nervous groom before answering. ”Hey, babe. Everything alright over there?”

Henry couldn't help the little laugh before he turned his phone to show Lysander's pacing before giving up on his tie.

Tyler giggled " what if he's having second thoughts?"Betty asked to no one in particular

Henry sighed and turned his phone back. ”Tell her he’s not. He's been waiting for this day and he's just as nervous as she is. But I know he wants this too.” he said.
