“Sure, sure.” Jason said, his blush becoming very faint now.

Benji finished his tea, staring at the clock. "Is there anywhere else you would like to go?"

“No not really.”

"Okay. You can leave if you want to." Benji bit back a growing disappointment. He didn't want Jason to leave.

“No it’s fine.”

"Oh. Okay then." Benji felt a blush creeping up his cheeks. He didn't have anything to do right now. And he was alone with a cute stranger. Kasami-san would disapprove. Show him your hospitality!

“Why are you blushing? Blushing gives away your feelings.” Jason said nonchalantly, sipping his tea and smirking internally since he just quoted Benji.

"My feelings right now are meant to be given away." Benji replied without a beat. He slipped his hand onto Jason's free one and smiled.

Snoe created a bow and quiver of arrows out of ice and stood ready. One guy came at her and she shot him straight through the eye. She froze 3 more and smashed them. Another was shot through the heart. Another got ice shards through him. The last 3 all got arrows their way. one in the eye, one in the should and the other in the skull. The bodies started to grow ice as the arrows froze to them.
"That was easy." Snoe said walking out.
"It was a cheap dog." The guy behind the counter said as he handed it to her.

“W-what?” Jason stuttered, his blush creeping back to his cheeks. He was not prepared for a such a response.

Jae's eyes snapped open, her heart racing. No, No, No. She'd been expecting it, but it was WAY more vivid than usual. Her sister. Yelling. Screaming. Calling for her. Jae sat up, wiping the beads of sweat from her forehead. Her room reflected her mood, and today, the open sky above her swirled with dark, menacing clouds, so close to unleashing their torrent of rage. She had left her sister. Left her with nothing. Just like their father had done to them. She didn't want to become her father, but yet every night, the same dream came back, over and over again until she'd screamed so insanely loud that her walls exploded. Jae sighed. "What good are the luxuries of Valhalla if your memories taint everything you experience?" She muttered to herself, starting to head down the sheer cliff face. She changed into a t-shirt and jeans, braided her hair, and set out to find some breakfast.

"You didn't hear me? I apologize. My main meaning was that I like you." Benji stated clearly, lacing his fingers in between Jason's.

Jason blushed furiously, “Y-you’ve only known me, known me… for.. less than an hour…”

Benji nodded. "You are a wonderful acquaintance and I haven't talked to anyone in a while. We can be friends?"

“O-of course.”

"You stutter much." he noted, tearing his hand away reluctantly.

“It’s habit when I’m nervous or embarrassed.” Jason stated, surpressing down the disappointment when Benji let go of his hand.

(hAHAHA IM LEARNING HOW TO ROMANCE)

"I make you nervous? Am I scary?" Benji bared his teeth, making a low growling sound that succeeded in nothing but making him even cuter than before.

“No, not really.” Jason said, shaking his head lightly.
