She nodded and walked over to the bar, where the grumpy bartender made the drinks quickly.

The bartender glared at the greetress. "Don't fucking trip up like last time, eh?" He laughed meanly, as the greetress waved a hand at him.

Sage played with her sweater sleeves, hoping the conversation wouldn't be turned to her soon

"Yeah, well there's a reason you're stuck behind that counter, Zackary," She called over her shoulder as she walked. Suddenly, a chair was jutted out, and the greetress tripped over the leg, with a hissed, but still audible, "Shit!" She scrambled to catch her balance but fell nevertheless.

Sage's parents gave her a shocked look. "How dare you use that language in front of my daughter!" Her father said loudly. Sage sighed, before tugging his sleeve. If she was ever going to actually swear in front of her parents, it might as well be now, right? She took a deep breath. "Dad, will you chill the fuck out? She just tripped over a godddamn chair. I've heard worse-from you two- and said way fucking worst, so if you kindly not be an asshole for once?"

oooh burn Nyx thought he also remebered he forgot his pen and paper at home. he looked around to see if anyone was watching and pushed his hand through the shadow of his glass and a few seconds later his hand comes out with a pen and paper

The greetress smiled hastily. "I… I'm very sorry. Your meal and drinks are on the house. I'll make Cameron aware, I swear, I didn't mean to, sir."

Nyx wrote something down , payed and got up
the man who had yelled at the waitress's chair was in the way
