"HEY SHUT THE HELL UP!" Juliet screamed as if there was any chance the person above could hear her. While Juliet was trying to make some paste, someone decided that it would be funny to jump up and down, it was not funny. She had endured the ruckus for nearly a half an hour already and she didn't know why Luna nor Tori had tried to stop it. Now slamming down her bowl, she stormed up the stairs as if she were on a murder spree, eloquent and full of rage.
Emery had certainly heard her. They stood at the helm, absentmindedly tapping their foot as they kept their hand on the wheel. With a panic, they thought she was talking about the tapping before dismissing the thought. Still, it was hard to not get nervous when you heard the sound of an angry Juliet coming up the stairs.
Ruby was just on the horizon. The sky was clear, with no clouds in sight. Emery could only hope it stayed that way.
Luna listened and turned to where Juliet should be appearing from below deck. She hadn't heard whatever caused such an outburst from her medic, but at the very least the rest of her crew was preparing for their docking, "Yes Jules?"
(Oh wow- Im sorry I got cought up in some stuff-)
(If you can get in today or tomorrow that would be ideal.)
"Yes Jules," she imitated her in a mocking voice, it was unwarranted and Luna didn't deserve her rage, no no no, she would save that for someone else.
"Well I don't know if you've heard captain, but "someone" decided that it would be funny to JUMP UP AND DOWN FOR THE LAST HOUR!"

"I don't believe anyone is doing that," Luna responded looking over at Juliet. Her voice was cold and commanding though it carried a softness to it. She glanced around the top deck and spotted no one, "So I don't know what you were hearing, perhaps the waves hitting the side of the ship?"
Tori opened the door to her quarters, sticking her head out at the commotion.
"Jules, I'm sure nobody was doin' it on purpose. It might've just been us walking back and forth across the deck, I don't know. I'll try n' sort it out, though, if it'll make you feel any better."
(Ok, I think Brooklyn should reply before I do, but I don’t want this thread to die, so here https://s3.amazonaws.com/notebook-content-uploads/content/uploads/original/012b6767-6db8-4c2e-8f3c-f122b15845f5.jpeg?1595698168 I did have to take some creative liberties)
(Whoops just saw Brooklyn’s farewell address after posting this. Best wishes to you <3)
(Yeah… ALSO THAT IS FRICKING AMAZING!)
(I love that so much I actually just cried)
(Awww I’m glad you like it!)
Luna looked up to Emery and called out to them, "How close are we to Port Minith?"
(Just to try and get it started again.)
Emery glanced at Luna in acknowledgment. They had studied the maps they kept in their cabin, and looking at the faint smudge of land ahead of them now, Emery could get their general position. “I’d say we’ve got 52 nautical miles to go, Captain.”
"Great," Tori replied, walking up behind Emery and Luna. "52 more miles to go." The woman gripped the railing, her hands shaking. "I'll be alright. I think."
"52 miles, so another day at sea?" Luna asked looking at her navigator before turning to her first mate. She cracked a soft smile as she told her, "Are you sure? I know your history with the kingdom is shoddy at best."
Tori managed a weak smile. "I'll be fine, don't worry. It's just bad memories, they're all behind me now." She took a few deep breaths, and did her best to stop her hands shaking.
"Very well," Luna nodded as she watched Tori. Her look softened a little before firming up again, "Though if you don't feel like going ashore than feel free to stay on the boat."
“Should be another day at sea, yes…” Emery murmured as they began tapping their foot again. They didn’t know much about Tori’s past, but they knew a thing or two about bad memories. They grew quiet as they tried not to remember them, or imagine the ship going down in a storm. Emery followed Tori’s example and took a deep breath, inhaling the ocean air.
