"Thanks, most people do." She joked, giving him a two finger salute. "You make a career out of 'attacking' students, or are you a teacher?"

Phoenix really didn't feel like she had a chance to show off what she could do. Then again you win some you loose some, this was just one of the situations she lost in. However how come she hadn't been kicked out, she had done nothing productive other than stay out of the way.
"I am a third year Sign. One of 5 third years. I am eligible to take a group of signs that pass initiation or first years and train them for the school. If I get chosen for your group, we will create a team name, and have special team trainings. Considering how well your fought, I reckon the other 5 year 3s are going to be after you as well." He grinned. X studied the other student. There were a few that didn't do much, others that did too much, and those that were in the middle. He was glad that there were a few cautious ones, this would help them develop a game planner, some on who studies the opponents history and creates a plan of attack.
Rio studied him carefully, hanging back as he mulled over what he'd said. Team leader? Exercises? he thought carefully, tucking his sword into his belt. Sounds like my kind of adventure…
"Huh, sounds fancy. I hope that punch at least hurt." Ziva stated, shifting to get a little more comfortable under the girl passed out on her.
X smirked and took off a helmet "I wish it did, but sadly we aren't allowed to do initiation without helmets." He said. Walking back to the bus, he unbuckled a glove and called over his shoulder "lets head to school."
Rio nodded, carefully stopping by the luggage section to dig out the sheath for his blade, deciding to keep it on him in case of more surprises.
Phoenix understood why they did that. She lifted her wings to still find it wet before she hobbled off after him to the bus. She really wished her feathers were waterproof at times like these.
"Ok, so that was unexpected." Azalea muttered under her breath before getting back onto the bus.
Arabella frowned as she studied X, was it possible that all their courses with him would be like this. Shaking her head, she walked over to her classmates "that was some battle wasnt it?" She asked no one in particular
Phoenix looked up at the boy with a smile as she carefully sat down in the seat, "That would be great thanks!"
Ziva swore, and then looked down at Sage, carefully shifting her and standing up, before leaning down to scoop her up. She made her way back to the bus carrying the girl, and managed to make her way to a seat in the front to lay her down.
Rio nodded, gingerly placing one hand on her feathers, focusing on carefully drawing the water out. A few minutes later and her wings were dry, and Rio was holding a particularly large orb of water in his hand. "That's actually less than I was expecting…" he commented, slipping it through a blue glow and into his waterbottle, and the rest into a larger canteen he hadn't had time to fill earlier.
X looked at the small group and frowned, he had expected a few more male figures. No worries, I can work with a females the same way I would with male.
Sage's eyes fluttered open. Using her hand as a shield from the sun she sat up, still a bit dizzy but didn't want to bother the girl who helped her much. There was a few more people around than there were earlier. "Um, what happened?"
X looked at the now conscious girl "o see you're awake." He grinned and gestured for the driver to start moving
"Welcome to the land of the conscious. Can I take a nap now?"
Rio nodded to Pheonix before coming over to Sage, holding out the newly purified and filled water bottle out to her, "Want it?" he asked, keeping one eye on X.
"Ah, sorry. I swear I didn't mean to pass out. I'm sorry if I was a burden on anyone." She sat up and looked around. It looked like she miss a lot. Now I know I'm definitely getting sent home. I'm not strong enough to be here. Sage sort of wanted to cry but held back and smiled and laughed instead. She took the water from Rio and drank a bit. "Thank you."
"You were awesome Sage" said Rio, taking a seat on the opposite side of the aisle, taking a drink from his canteen, "Though seriously, why did we have to do that?" he asked, his eyes switching to focus on X.
"You're pretty light, no biggie." Ziva stated as she laud down on one of the seats, ignoring the pain in her chest.
Phoenix thanked Rio before turning her attention to X, “I’m curious as well.”
It felt awkward not really know what was going on, but her eyes followed everyone else's and landed on X. He looks familiar.
"For those who dont know me, I'm X or as you may have battled me, Xavier. My real name isnt Xavier though." He made a face when saying the name. Pausing for a few seconds, he gathered his thoughts before speaking "the reason you had to do that was so we could see whether or not you were suited to work as a group, trust each other, and create a simple plan on the go. We use initiation tests to see if students we select from other schools have the necessary skills needed at the Academy. There is a whole year system to the school which I will talk about later. Any questions about what we did?"
Rio sat back, adjusting his position for the presence of his blade, but stayed otherwise quiet. so teamwork is key here… he thought, guess I'm not going off on my own this time…. he thought, mulling it over in his corner.
"Are there any more tests we have to pass?" he asked carefully, "And is it possible to fail? If so what happens if you do?" he looked up at X, watching to see how well he answered.
