"Just tell meee" I whine "Please?"

"That is widely considered to be the make-out spot," I say. "You're absolutely stupid, you know."

"I've been told!" I say before skipping around in a circle a few times.

"You need ADHD medicine." She grabbed his wrist. "Just sit still for a minute."

Still skipping, though now in place, I giggle saying, "Believe it or not I'm on my meds I'm just manic right now."

She cupped his face. "SLOW DOWN." Orion stared at him. "Slow down. Alright. If you stop skipping for just a minute I promise you'll feel better."

Looking down, I mumble "Kay.."

"See? Much better." She dropped her hands. "Now. Do you still want to go to the courtyard and watch people make out or. . .?"

I laugh, "Do you? Cuz I don't think I do."

She shudders "Definitely not. I can't stand people in relationships."

"If you don't want to answer it's fine but may I ask why?"

"I just don't like public displays of affection. It's icky."

"Oh.." I glance at the floor.

"What?" She looks over at him.

"Oh well… I just thought… that maybe.." My head stays facing the ground.

"Maybe what? Are your shoes that interesting?"

"N-no I just thought that maybe you're… like.. me.."

"Like you? You're going to have be a little bit more articulate here, love."

"I just mean that maybe you.. don't like it cuz.. you dont have a.."

"A what." She blinked at him. "Honestly, do you even know English?"

"You know a-a s.." I pause trying not to choke on my words, "a soulmate.."

"A soulmate?" She laughed. "I don't know. Even if I find mine, I don't know if I want it."

"Oh.." I look back up, "Anyways, where do you want to spend lunch?"
