Caladium rolls their eyes at Maria. “No need to be so loud. Some kid just appeared, along with—“ they glare at Resh and Juni— “…them. And some crazy person claiming to be a Dark Dragon.”

"Well don't expect me to play nice with you, latecomers," Maria practically snarled the last word. With that said, she did the weird travel again, going everywhere and nowhere at once.

Caladium turns and stares at Asani. “Well, hello there. Who are you?”

Maria stopped when it felt right, and was disgusted to find herself back at the spot with everyone else. I guess there's something important going on still then, Maria thought to herself.

"ack! Um.. A-Asani. My n-name is a-asani…" She stuttered out, as another tree fell over. "Ack! Sorry! I'm sorry!"

Caladium narrows their eyes at her. “…Interesting.” Suspicious. “Why are all these trees falling over all of a sudden?”

because if they weren't, something worse would happen.. Asani thought, glancing at the trees. "I-I have b-bad luck."

If she’s bad luck, I should just murder her now. No! Don’t just kill her! Why not? She said it herself. That isn’t any reason to kill anybody.

“Bad luck?” Caladium huffs. “Yeah, I hadn’t noticed.” They discreetly reach for their knife, staring Asani down.

She looked down, tugging at the thin white dress she was in. "I-i'm really s-sorry.."

“I see…” She gathers her thoughts for a moment. “I just… I noticed he seems to get angry with you for little things. I’m worried…” I’m probably overstepping my boundaries. Fuck. “Uh… if you don’t want to talk about it, I understand-“ She adds frantically. She looks annoyed at herself.

Salmook looked at her funny. That's just how Naveil always was. Right?
He scratched his head, trying to remember.
"He's not… mad. Not at me. Uh, he likes me."
He had to think before he spoke again.
Naveil probably wouldn't like this, but the stranger didn't jump at him yet, and that had to worth something.
"He… used to be nicer."

Juni stares at Salmook for a moment. That’s what I used to think about Cedar. “Well…” She shakes her head. “I’m… sorry for bothering you.” She glances at Naveil again, visibly nervous.

Caladium glares at Asani. “I heard you the first two times.” They pull out their knife, keeping it hidden from Asani.

(Someone stop calculator before they commit a felony)

Asani glanced fearfully at the audience. "Why did that one call you calculator? Why are you two people. Are you going to hurt me?" She almost whispered.

Maria noticed trees falling all around. She noticed Caladium pulling out a knife. She noticed a new person, Asami, looking very nervous. She listened to the readers, took in what they were thinking. Asami was either a stroke of bad luck, evil, or just a nervous girl. In a split second, she took in the pros and cons of killing Asami. Deciding the pros outweighed the cons, she snuck towards Asami, knife in hand.

Caladium looks confused. “What? I’m one person. And why do you think I’m going to hurt you?” They narrow their eyes. “And who exactly called me calculator?”
