Luciana sighed in defeat.

“He’ll be useful on your quest,” Kirin said offhandedly from the other side of the room, where he was inspecting another jar.

Ellis grinned. "My goal in life. To be useful."

"I'm pretty sure that's a goal for a lot of people." Luciana said.

"I think your's is to be as stubborn as possible."

"That's one of my smaller goals." Luciana laughed, "Another one of my small goals is to always try to prove you wrong, and I'm failing."

"Meanie poo." Luciana huffed, sticking her tongue out, "Quick! What color was I wearing on my 13th birthday?"

"You were wearing a mint green dress with a pink trim and I thought it was ugly."

"That hurts my feelings."

But then again I’m imagining like one of those maid dresses so

"Sorry. I thought it had been enough time to tell you."

"Also it was a white trim you idiot, I made that dress."

"It looked pink after you spilled the pink lemonade on it."

"Good point. Well it washed out. I still have that dress."

"Do not wear it again." Ellis grimaced.

"Go away before I make a mint tie with white trimming and then spill pink lemonade on it and make you wear it." Luciana huffed.
