Klance parked his car and glanced down at the lines to see if he was straight. He promptly burst out laughing at the thought and climbed out of the car, not really caring. There was a crowd of people milling around the door like every morning. "AVERY!" He called, looking around for his friend.
"Yo!" Aver said from behind Klance. He was always in the best places to scare people and he was quiet so, that helped. "Did you eat this morning? You look like you just got out of bed, well more than usual." He commented, munching on a pastry from the bakery he worked at.
Klance let out a small yelp and turned around, glaring jokingly at him. "Coffee is all I need. And you don't look much better yourself. So basic." Klance commented, pulling Avery's beanie down over his eyes.
"Hey!" He exclaimed, pushing his beanie back up. "And you look like a basic emo." He snarks, slapping his friends had away.
"I'm so hurt." He replied sarcastically, walking towards the crowd of people. "Why do they just stand here and talk? Is going inside like selling your soul to hell or something?"
"I mean, pretty much." He says shrugging as he walks inside. "It doesn't matter for me, can't get your soul stolen if you don't have one!" He exclaimed cheerfull.
"This is why you don't have a boyfriend." Klance laughed as they walked into the almost empty school building.
"You may be right, or it could be my vast musical knowledge and my ability to quote multiple musicals." He laughed, walking to his first period.
"We should go watch theater practice and scope out the cute nerds that would stand to be around you." He said, grabbing his stuff and following Avery.
"Perhaps, I have free period fifth. We can go then, I think there is drama then" He said, flopping into his chair in the back of the room.
"Good. You've been single too long." He commented, flicking little bits of paper at Avery from his desk.
"Meh, I'm a single pringle." He said, wiping the paper bits off his desk and grabbing a few to throw at his friend.
"And you suck at throwing." Klance said laughing, dodging the paper.
"A duh, I don't exercise my arms. I'm in track, not basketball."
